"Doctor, would you mind if I sit at the rear seat with Sana?" Madhu asks hesitantly as they walk back to their car from the beach.

Rk, with a smile says "I won't mind being a chauffeur to  my girls"

"Good! Then be our bodyguard, cook, care taker, oh haan... be our Doctor too."

"Ahaan!" He smirks & opens the door for them to get in.

Madhu settles Sana on her car seat & buckles her up but she withers her hands and legs in protest wanting to free her as she wanted to sit on Madhu's lap & play with her.

"You won't sit there hun, baby?" Madhu asks Sana & she shakes her head.

"Okay, my darling girl, come here." Madhu unbuckles her belt & takes her in her arms & places her on her lap, facing her.

"You should stop granting all her demands, Madhu."

"I won't" Madhu says & pokes her tongue out in a childish way.

"You are gonna spoil our daughter." Rk shakes his head & starts the car.

"Our daughter?" Madhu asks in surprise.

"Isn't she?" Rk asks her looking at her through the read view mirror.

"Of course she is." Madhu says smiling happily. She loved the moment he said 'our daughter'. It sent a strange warmth to her heart & made her feel so happy that she has become a part of Rk's life & his family. She is now Sana's mommy & soon to be Rk's wife.
"Then?" Rk asks with a frown.

"No... it's just... it felt great. I am glad you accepted me to be Sana's mommy."

"Haha... Sana's baby mommy." Rk tells with a chuckle. He finds her so funny & childish. Whenever, She is with Sana, he can't differentiate between them. Madhu's antics match so well with Sana's.

She has just grown up in physique but she is still a baby at heart. Her love is so unadulterated & pure just like innocent babies love will be.

"Baby Mommy? Nope! I'm a big mommy. Right baby?" She asks Sana but she shakes her head & sides her father.

"Daddy's girl" Rk laughs & turning back, he pulls Sana's cheek gently.

"Stop the car." Madhu says in a gruff tone.

"Why?"

"I said stop." Madhu repeats. Rk stops the car & turns back to see Madhu opening the car door & stepping out. Next moment he finds her opening the passenger side door & climbing in with Sana.

"Now, move." She orders. "What? Why are you looking at my face as if I have grown two horns?"

"Go back & sit."

"No. we will sit here. I thought Sana will sit alone in the car seat so I went back to give her company but since she decided to sit on my lap I thought why not sit in front as I don't want you to turn for every now & then to talk with us."

"But it's not safe to sit at the front with a baby."

"This is much safer than you turning back your head. You are lacking focus."

"I am not." He argues.

"You are!"

"Madhu, go back"

"Doctor, stop arguing & start the car."

Rk sighs & starts the car keeping a grumpy face. Sana looks up at her mommy looking outside the window & then turns to look at her daddy who has his eyes on the road ahead. She bends down to her side & takes her daddy's hand from the gear shift with both her hands; Rk with a smile lets his grip loose on the gear so that she can take his hand with hers to play. Then suddenly Sana drops his hand on Madhu's thigh making her jump.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to touch you... Sana took my hand & dropped it on you..." Rk explains, recoiling his hand. Madhu with a shy smile, takes his hand & places it back on her thigh.

"You have the right to touch me."

"Oh!" Rk says & squeeze her thigh gently & takes it off. Madhu turns to him disappointed.

"I want to shift the gear." Rk says chuckling seeing her pouty lips.

A second later, he places his hand back on her body but this time not on her thigh but a little above, on her waist. He gently caressed her belly beneath her shirt. Madhu turns to his side & looks at him wide eyed shock. Rk just gives her a mischievous grin. Not taking her daddy's atrocity, Sana kicks Rk's hand with her leg & hugs her mommy waist possessively making Madhu burst out laughing.

"Not fair baby girl. You only started this game & now you are kicking my hand off your mommy." Rk pouts.

"You should stay in your limits, daddy. You were crossing border so earned a kick, okay?" Madhu tells giggling & kisses Sana's head.

"Now, eyes on the road" Madhu says in a warning tone.

"I guess you have split personality, Madhu. We should consult with a psychiatrist" Rk says thoughtfully. Madhu punches him on the side of his stomach for teasing her, and then she feels a gentle thump on her stomach. Yeah, Sana gave her mommy a punch.

"Don't mess with her daddy, okay?" Rk smirks, warning her.

"Oh hello, she was telling me to punch you this harder..." Madhu says & punched his stomach again, a little hardly this time.

"Oh girl! Stop it. It hurts."

"Oh, I am sorry." she says & caresses his stomach gently to soothe his pain.

"Madhu... stop." Rk holds her hand. He is getting distracted with her touch. "We are almost here & I don't want to end up in some accident." Rk tells & places her hand back on her lap.

"Hey, where are you taking her?" Rk asks when Madhu steps out of the car with Sana, outside her house.

"To my house. Come in"

"What? No! Your mother is there."

"So?"

"What so? She doesn't like me."

"I will make her like you. You don't worry."

"Madhu... try to understand..."

"Rishab, please... I won't let her insult you again..."

"It's not that... we will take some time. We will convince her... I don't want to jump to the next level & mess thing more."

"I am not going to wait. It's always now or never." she says adamantly

"Madhu... stop being stubborn." Rk says getting slightly irritated with her stubbornness. She wants everything to happen on her way.

"I am going in & gonna tell her everything. I don't care whether you come out and come in or not." She slams the car door hard & walks into her house taking Sana with her. Rk bangs his head twice on the steering wheel before following her to her house.

"Don't run. Stay here. I'll bring my parents." Madhu tells him.

"Madhu, don't do this... give Sana to me. I'll see them some other day."

"Nope. I'm not going to give Sana to you, then you will take off from here" Saying that she runs in to call her parents.

"Mama! Papa!" She calls but couldn't find them anywhere.

"You! What are you doing here?" Madhu's mother, Padmini shouts seeing Rk in the front hall as she entered her house with her husband.

"Oh you both are here? I was searching for you two inside. Where were you two?" Madhu asks coming towards them.

"We went shopping. What he & his daughter doing here?" Padmini asks her daughter with a frown.

"Mama, Papa... meet my lover, Dr. Rishab" Madhu says, smiling as she tugs Rk closer to her.

"What?" Padmini & her husband Malik shouted in unison.

"Why so surprised?" Madhu asks them. "You wanted me to have a love marriage, right?"

Padmini glares at her daughter.

"So I found a nice guy as my life partner."

"Madhu, he has a child" Padmini says, trying to knock some sense to her daughter.

"So?"

"Madhu, he is marr.."

"He is a virgin bachelor!!!" Madhu shouts & turning to Rk, she winks at him without her parents noticing it.

"How do you know that?" Rk asks Madhu in a whispered shock.

"What? What? What?" Madhu, Padmini & Malik shouts all together.

"You really a virgin?" Madhu shouts making him shut his eyes tight in embarrassment.

"Is he really a bachelor?" Malik asks.

"Whatever! I'm not getting you married to him." Padmini says stubbornly.

"You both wait a second" Madhu shushes her parents. "You answer" Madhu orders Rk.

"Answer what?" Rk asks getting embarrassed.

"That you still have your V-card"

"Stop it, Madhu" Rk tells gritting his teeth. This girl has totally damaged his image.

"Answer me!" Madhu stomps her foot like a small girl. Sana starts crying & stretches her hands for her father to take her. Seems she had enough of her mommy's drama.

"You. Are. Mad" Rk growls & takes Sana in his arms & rocks her.

"See.. see.. now itself he is calling you mad..." Padmini takes a point to say something against Rk.

"Mama, you should feel so happy because in such a short time he came to know me so well." Madhu grin & pats Sana's back. "She is dosing off." Madhu says checking on Sana, who has her head rest on his shoulder. "My baby" She kisses her head lovingly.

"I'm going home. I will talk to you later." Rk tells her, pissed.

"No! Wait. We are in the middle of the discussion."

"Madhu..." Padmini calls her daughter losing her patience.

"He adopted Sana."

"Oh! Why?" Malik asks.

"Papa, he adopted her because he loved her. I love him & Sana so I gonna marry him & be Sana's mother and his wife,clear?"

"Madhu, you deserve a better life. You don't want to take care of someone else child. She will be never your own child."

"She is not someone else child. She is mine & I already love her like my own child." Madhu says possessively. Rk looks at her stunned. This was exactly how he behaved with his parents when they protested him for adopting Sana but later they started liking Sana & treated her like their own granddaughter.

"Madhu, calm down" Rk tells her politely. "I'm sorry Sir. I will leave..."

"No! You wait." Madhu pulls his sleeve to stop him.

"Madhu, let him go." Malik orders her daughter.

"No, papa"

"Dr. Rishab, bring your parents here tomorrow, we will fix your wedding" Malik tells him with a smile.

"Malee!" Padmini shouts.

"Love you, Papa" Madhu quickly hugs her father happily.

"We will talk later, Paddu" Malik instructs Padmini to keep calm, and then he looks up at Rk.

"Okay, Sir." Rk nods at him & without giving a glance to Madhu he walks out.

*What happened? Y u r not talking to me? * Madhu text him.

*Answer my call * Madhu text him again when he didn't attend her call.

*R u mad at me? * she gets no reply from him.

*I'm loosing my patience! *

*DOCTOR!!!! *

*I AM COMING THERE! * She types in shouty capitals & throws her phone on the bed. Few seconds later her phone rings.

"Don't come here & create a scene. It's already late. My parents are sleeping." Rk tells her & cuts the call. He hung up on me? How dare he? Madhu mutters as she stared at her phone in shock.

"What?" He answers her call this time.

"Are you mad at me?"

"You have to ask that?"

"I thought you will be happy that I got permission for our marriage from my parents?" Madhu asks in a low voice.

"You are so stupid, Madhu."

"Why are you scolding me?"

Rk sighs. "Give me some time, Madhu"

"Okay, take your time to calm down, I will stay on line" she says sweetly & finally she was blessed by his chuckle.

"What Sana is doing?" Madhu asks.

"She is playing."

"Give the phone to her. I will talk to her."

"She won't talk, Madhu"

"You give the phone. She will talk." Madhu says stubbornly.

"I should get used to your stubborn nature." Rk mutters. Madhu just giggles in reply.

"Sana, darling, here, momma wanna talk to you" Rk calls Sana & she looks at her dad curiously. "Momma... Momma..." He says as he showed the mobile screen to her. She crawls on the bed & tries to grab the phone in her hand but Rk puts the call on loud speaker mode & placed it on the bed. Sana taps the phone with her hand.

"Baby, say hi to momma" Rk coos her.

"Hey, baby girl! Are you missing mama? I'm missing you darling"

"Maa... Maa..."

"Omg!" Rk opens his mouth wide in shock.

"You heard her, Rishab?"

"Yeah... she uttered her first word"

"Baby... say 'Maa' again" Madhu tells over the phone.

"Rishab, ask her to say something"

"Sana, say 'Papa'... say darling, please."

"Ask her to say 'Maa'..." Madhu chides him.

"Shut up"

"Why she is not talking?" Madhu asks disappointed.

"She got shy & now hiding her face with a pillow." Rk says & laughs seeing his cute little girl's antics.

"Oh! We should start training her to talk few simple words, doctor"

"Hmm..."

After talking for few more minutes, they end the call saying good night to each other & went to bed.

(An hour or so later)

Rk, stirs in his sleep hearing some noise. He quickly sits up on the bed & rush to Sana's crib to check on her whether she has woken up from her sleep but she's sleeping peacefully sucking her pacifier. Then he heard his phone ringing.

"Madhu, are you okay?" Rk asks in concern.

"Yes, I am fine. Just open the door." She says.

"What?"

"Do it, Rk"

Rk sighs in annoyance & walks towards his bedroom door.

"Not your bedroom door. I'm standing outside your balcony door."

"What the f**k you are doing there? And how hell you got up here."

"Cut the call, open the door, then I will answer all your questions."

"Move!" Madhu says when Rk blocked her way holding the door & glaring at her.

"She slept?" Madhu asks.

"Just sometimes back she dozed off."

"Oh! I thought she will be up so that I can make her talk"

"God, Madhu... what am I going to do with you?"

"Don't tell me you are gonna handover your V-card to me, tonight"

"Gah!"

Madhu giggles & picks up Sana from her crib & puts her on Rk's bed & she settles beside her bed.

"What's all this, Madhu?"

"Why are you sweating?" Madhu wonders. Rk wipes off the sweat beat which broke on his forehead.

"Madhu... I want to tell you something" Rk starts, hesitantly.

"Yes. Even I wanna tell you something but you go first"

Rk walks around & sits next to Madhu on the bed & talks hold of her hand.

"When you were a child..." He clears his throat.

"When I was a child I looked so chubby & cute, you know."

"Oh! Well, that's not what I was talking about."

"Then?"

"I guess when you were a child you hit your head hard on some rock or some other solid substance & damaged your brain... or in your adult age you might have faced some love failure or some severe depression... um... It could be schizophrenia! So you better take my advice of meeting a psychiatrist."

"Am I going to die?" Madhu asks him sadly. "Oh God! I didn't enjoy my life yet. I want to marry you; I want to look after you and Sana... I want to give birth to our son Shaan... I wanna watch them grow up... God! I have so many dreams... I wanna go for a world tour... but now I am gonna die" She bursts into tears & RK quickly engulfed her in his arms feeling guilty for making her cry. He really didn't thought she will take his joke seriously.

"I don't wanna die. Save me, Doctor" She pleads him.

"Madhu, you are not going to die. I was just joking."

"Joking?" She pushes him rudely & moves back.

"Then what Madhu? You were so normal when I first met you in the mall... then you were so matured at your house, you understood the situation so well & kept on asking sorry to me... then on Sana's birthday party you were so wonderful... but today? All the stalking, sudden love declaration, dragging me to your home & the drama you created there... then now, you sneaking into my room like a thief... how the hell I would keep up with your multiple shades hun?"

"So much happened in single day huh?" Madhu asks finally realizing what all craziness she did in that day. Rk nods his head slowly.

"Rishab, do you think I am mad?" She asks in a serious tone.

"Um... a bit!" he says grinning cheekily.

"You still want to marry me?"

"Yes"

"Rishab, I am sorry I freaked you out by behaving like a wacko... But trust me, I am not..."

"I know" He gives her a reassuring smile.

"I was overwhelmed with the love I felt for you... you know, love is like an alien territory to me before I met you... I really didn't know how to react... I got so excited... and wanted things to happen soon... I'm sorry"

"Its okay, Madhu" He says & takes her head in his hands & kisses her forehead.

"That feels so good." Madhu whispers with her eyes closed. Rk kisses her right side cheek, then her left side cheek & contemplated whether to kiss her lips or not.

"Kiss me" Madhu whispers & slightly parts her lips. Rk gently circles her cheeks with his thumbs on either side, then bending down he takes her lips in his, gently nibbling it. Slowly the soft kiss turns wild as they start consuming in each other.

"I love you, Madhu" Rk whispers, he rest his forehead on her forehead as they tried to catch up some breathes and she is too overwhelmed to say the three words to back to him. Rk kisses her forehead before easing her off his lap. He didn't know how she ended up on his lap.

"Come I'll drop you home" Rk tells her & gets off the bed to change but Madhu without replying, stretches on the bed beside Sana, caressing her little ear. "She is so soft" Madhu smiles admiring her baby girl's beauty.

"Madhu, it's getting late. Come." Rk holds out his hand for her.

"You are coming with your parents to my house tomorrow right?"

"Yes"

"What your parents told about that?"

"I told them you and I are in love & we want to get married."

"Okay! For that what they said?"

"Well, they are happy because I am happy"

"That's it? No objection? No shouting? No drama at all?"

"No!"

"First time when I saw your mom, I though she was also a clown like mine..." Rk glares at her hearing her say that about his mother. "... but I guess I was wrong... you people are sane & simple. No over the top drama & making things complicated."

"You had a fight with your parents? If your mom is not happy with our relation then we... we should..." Rk asks.

"We should what?" She asks

"Calm down. I wasn't going to say we should stop seeing... I am just saying we should take things slow & convince them. We won't get anything by hurting our parents"

"No need for all that. I convinced my mom."

"Oh. How?"

"I asked her what she has against Sana"

"She said she has nothing against Sana. She likes her as she is one cute adorable child but she doesn't want me to be her mother..." Madhu shakes her head. Rk patiently let her talk.

"Then I asked her what if I couldn't yield a child in future?"

"What nonsense?"

"She said the same & also assured no such thing will happen... I can have my own child... correction children..." Madhu rolls her eyes. "Rishab, I am telling you, I will get pregnant only once"

"Okay" Rk nods.

"Then I asked her about the big fat "IF"... she said if I have any complication in conceiving I can go to you as you are my Gyn friend." Madhu says laughing. "I said if I marry you then I don't have to pay you for my treatment... you will treat me for free of cost..."

"You talked all this?" Rk asks doubtfully.

"I'm telling you Rishab, me & my family members are crazies." Madhu once again established a known fact to him.

"I asked her what if you couldn't treat me?"

"I take that as an insult" Rk grumbles.

"She said I can adopt a child... & I said I already did... And that finally shuts her mouth. End of discussion!"

"This is not the way to handle things... you are so immature and impulsive." Rk mutters and Madhu pouts. She thought she had handled the issue so brilliantly & got her mother's consent for Rishab's & her marriage but he's scolding her.

"Okay, you go home, now"

"I'm actually thinking, anyway you are gonna come to my place tomorrow..."

"So?"

"Why don't I stay here & in the morning you can take me home?"

"Don't be stupid, Madhu"

"Mad, crazy, insane, stupid, idiot, childish, immature Madhu... Whoa! Such romantic names for me from my lover"

Rk couldn't help but smile at her.

"It's late, Rishab"

"That's why I am telling you to move your ass from my bed as soon as possible."

"I'm scared to go alone"

"That you should have thought before coming this late to my house like a thief"

"My life is going to be so dull with my future grumpy unromantic husband" Madhu sighs sadly.

"Should I come & drop you?" Rk offers.

"No, it's okay. You stay with Sana."

"She is sleeping."

"What if she wakes up & cries for you?"

"You will go home safely?"

"I'll. Bye" Reluctantly she clambered out of the bed & walks towards the balcony.

"Hey, go by the main door."

"Nah! Your parents are sleeping. Let us not disturb them."

"They are sleeping in their room so it won't be no disturb to them."

"Nah! This is the short cut way. You just give me a hand & I will get down easily."

"If you fall from this height you will surely break your neck, hands or legs"

"That will happen only when you leave my hand"

"I won't leave your hand... ever!" Rk whispers. Madhu grins & throws her legs to the other side of the railing.

"Wait" Rk holds her by her waist.

"What?"

"I am sorry"

"For what?"

"For scolding you."

"Oh! I didn't realize you were scolding me... it felt so natural."

"Okay, bye. Call me when you reach home."

"Sure" Madhu smiles. Rk cups her face & kisses her forehead before helping her land down on the ground safely.
