"Hello villains! Black Hat here with more goods you need to destroy the heroes in your life. Like this; this is called a 'Laser Eye'. It works...uh...FLUG!"

I jumped at the sound of Black Hat's voice and rushed over to him.

"Yes sir?" I asked.

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me onto the spot where the camera was pointing.

"My very own scientist, Dr. Flug, will help explain what it is," he said to the camera.

I brightened at having a chance to explain one of my inventions.

"The Laser Eye looks just like a regular pendant," I began, placing the pendant around my neck. "However, when you hold the pendant and point it towards your enemy, it will shoot out lasers."

I tried to perform the invention, but when I shot the laser, it hit the Cam-Bot right in the camera, making a large hole in it. The Cam-Bot soon fell over, and I jumped in surprise, while Black Hat just laughed.

"Order yours today!" Black Hat ordered, walking over to the fallen Cam-Bot and leaning over so he could look at what was left of the camera. He took a deep breath before speaking again, and started talking extremely fast. "Onlyoneitemavailableatthistimesoordernowallitxostsisyoursoulsideeffectsmayincludevomiting, diziniess, heartfalilure, death, rebirth, deathagain, turningintoavampire, andobtainingafearofsandwiches."

He then snapped his fingers, and the Cam-Bot shut down. Black Hat laughed again, stood up, and slapped me hard on the back, resulting in me falling to the ground. I sighed and looked up just as Demencia and 5.0.5 entered, Demencia drinking a soda.

"So, how did it go?" Demencia asked, helping me stand up.

"Better than I thought," Black Hat replied, standing the Cam-Bot up and trying to make it power up again.

"Ugh," I muttered, fixing my bag and taking off the pendant. "If only the pendant wasn't malfunctional and it could actually aim correctly."

"Well, it did seem to work on the Cam-Bot," Demencia replied, smirking at the Cam-Bot Black Hat was holding.

"Well, let's go see who's ordering this product," Black Hat began, as he started walking out of the room. "We have a lot of souls to collect if this is working."

The rest of us began to follow him, but stopped when we heard the phone ring. I flinched as the phone crawled towards Black Hat like a spider. He casually stopped the phone, and answered it.

"Black Hat Organization, who is this?" Black Hat asked. His grin vanished from his face, and was replaced with an angered frown. "YOU. DID. WHAT?!? I TOLD YOU NOT TO!"

The three of us jumped as Black Hat slammed the phone down, ending the call. He turned around to us and raised his hands, palms upwards. Black bars rose from the floor and surrounded the three of us, encasing us in a metal cage.

"You three stay there!" Black Hat commanded, his eyes turning blood red. "I will be right back!

The three us us flinched as he slammed the door closed. 5.0.5 whimpered as the sound and curled up next to me, covering its ears.

"I wonder why he's so upset," Demencia thought out loud as she tried to shake the bars apart.

"I-I have no idea," I replied, pacing back and forth in the small space we had. "Something bad  must have happened."

We stood there in silence for a few hours until Black Hat finally returned. His clothes were a little torn, and he was a little out of breath. With a sigh, he fixed his hat and waved his hands in front of the bars, making them sink back into the floor where they came from.

"So, what happened?" I decided to ask him.

He looked at me before sighing again. "You remember the villain you saw a few nights ago, right?"

"Yeah, the shadowed man," I asked. "What about him?"

"He disobeyed me," Black Hat replied. "I'm sorry Flug, but your mother is dead."

My heart tore in half and suddenly I found it hard to breath.

"Flug? You alright?" Demencia asked, placing a hand on my shoulder.

I looked at Black Hat with wide eyes before sputtering out one word.

"W-What?"

"Why are you here?"

I glared at my uncle and Ferd before I approached my mother's newly dug grave.

"She was still my mother," I muttered, kneeling down by her grave and placing a bouquet of flowers in front of it. "I didn't want anything bad to happen to her."

Flint and Ferd softened their gazes at me, but I just pushed past them on the way away from my mother's grave. I stopped right behind them and turned my head to look at them.

"From now on, I hope you both realize that we are enemies."

With that, I left the cemetery and joined up with Black Hat, Demencia, and 5.0.5. I began my life of villainy. For as long as I am alive, I will always be a part of the Black Hat Organization.
