Who is Jennifer Byers? Well it depends who you ask, if you ask any student at Hawkins high, Jennifer is the freak sister of Jonathan Byers. If you ask my younger brother Will or any of his nerdy friends, Jennifer is the coolest older sister ever.

If you ask my friends... well i only have one. If you ask anyone over twenty, they'll tell you that Jennifer is the girl who's father walked out on her. But if you ask Jennifer who she is. She'll probably tell you to fuck off. So, most of the stuff they say about me is true.

Like me being the coolest sister ever? Definitely true. And the shit about my dad, the shit they say in the hallways at school when they think I can't hear them. That shit is all true. My dad left. When I was too young to stop him. Too young to help my mother through the pain.

And definitely too young to understand that true love isn't real. Now I'm seventeen. And I know for a fact that love, is just a lousy excuse at trying to have some commitment in an ever changing world. Some people think I'm a loner by chance. But I just prefer it.

There's only one person in this town I consider my friend, Robin Buckley, she's pretty badass, And there you have it, Jennifer Byers. The baddest bitch in Hawkins. Now I just need to let everyone else know that.
