Was Ronda better than some give her credit for? Absolutely. She was pretty good in the ring.

However, there was nothing special about her. If you take away her name and what she did for the UFC, she could have EASILY been pushed to the back. She would have literally been in catering because no one would have cared for her.

To push someone strictly because of their name or legendary status (in wrestling or elsewhere) is something we have been trying to advocate against. And that was why so many people were / are against Ronda.

We don't hate her. We just hated that her name got her the title. We hated that her name got her the main event of Evolution. We hated that her name got her the main event of Wrestle Mania.

Does Ronda need to return? No. The women's division is doing fine.

If she does return, good on her. I would care either way.

But the women's division doesn't need Ronda as much as some of you think it does.
