Feelings. Katsuki Bakugou was unfortunate enough to catch feelings for someone who would probably never love him back. When he first realized this, he was sitting at home watching the news. He saw (Y/C/N) going against a small pack of villains and he smirked to himself. He looked so confident fighting off all those baddies. Katsuki had grown very close to (Y/C/N) over the few years they had known each other. "I better not be fucking falling for this idiot.." he mumbled jokingly to himself. 

As soon as the words bounced off his tongue, he started coughing violently. His body had caught up to his brain and decided to expel the flowers growing inside his lungs. "The fuck-?!" Katsuki wheezed, as a few petals fell from his mouth. "No- Fuck!" He screamed. He immediately knew what was wrong, and it sent him into a heavy panic. He had Hanahaki Disease. 

Mitsuki could hear her son's violent hacking from the other room and she immediately knew what was wrong. "Katsuki!" She yelped, dashing up to the boy. "We're going to the hospital!" Mitsuki said. Katsuki knew better than to retaliate to his mother and he nodded, unable to speak from the bloody petals flowing from his mouth. A quick few phone calls and ambulance ride later, Katsuki was wheeled off to his room. They couldn't perform the surgery until tomorrow, so for now Katsuki was in his own room. Mitsuki had called Inko, who had told Izuku. In short, the news had spread around the class quickly.
