((Lyrics from: If I Could Tell Her from Dear Evan Hansen))

Katsuki and Shoto had been traveling the kingdoms for a long, long time. Shoto had been beconed for a long journey away for a family issue. His brother, Touya, had died. Sure, the boy was a deadset villain, but he was still Shoto's brother. Katsuki didn't quite know how to handle the situation, so he ended up bringing Shoto along on a short quest to a place he loved as a child. The sky rippled with a million pastels and beautiful pale colors. Katsuki bore a solemn expression as Shoto gazed upon the dark lands and the ocean surrounding it. "..He thought you were awesome." Katsuki said, his hands deeply pocketed and his back slightly hunched. Shoto raised an eyebrow quizzically. "He thought I was awesome? My brother?" the prince asked. Katsuki nodded, though Shoto couldn't see. "Fuck yeah." Shoto hesitated "How?" he asked with slight disbelief in his voice. Katsuki let out a deep sigh and stood by the other. "Well, he said, there's nothing like your smile.. Sort of subtle and perfect and real.." he said, biting his bottom lip to keep from letting his own smile take over. Katsuki was silent for a while longer before continuing. "He said, you never knew how wonderful that smile could make someone feel." he said, putting heavy emphasis on the last word.

"And he knew, whenever you get bored, you scribble stars on the cuffs of your jeans." Katsuki said. "Which is fucking stupid, by the way." he added in a snippy tone, just making Shoto chuckle to himself. "But he kept it all inside his head what he saw he left unsaid." At this point Katsuki didn't know if he was talking from Touya's point of view, or his own. He decided it was a mix. "And though he wanted to, he couldn't talk to you." He continued. Shoto nodded in a subtle agreement. "He couldn't find the way, but he would always say," Katsuki said. Shoto was clinging onto every word Katsuki spoke, wanting to know more. "If I could tell him, tell him everything I see.. How he's everything to me.." Katsuki said, his tone somewhat heavy at this point. It was like a confession without being a legitimate confession. "But we're a million worlds apart, and I don't know how I would even start." This part was true for both Katsuki and Touya. Obviously, Touya was a rouge, and in Katsuki's case, the Todoroki and Bakugou families had been warring for generations.

"Did he say anything else?" Shoto asked softly. "About you?" Katsuki asked, looking over at the other. Shoto got slightly flustered and rubbed the back of his neck. "Never mind, I don't really care anyways.." Shoto said, slight exclamation twinging at his voice. "No, no, no just, no, no he said, he said so many things!" Katsuki threw back, sightly flustered himself. He assumed Shoto had figured by now he was speaking mostly from his own self, not Touya. "I'm just, uh.. I'm trying to remember the best ones so, um.." Katsuki said, shuffling his feet. "He thought, you looked really pretty.." Katsuki said in an almost dreamy tone. His face tinted dark red and he cleared his throat, "Er uh, It looked pretty cool when you put indigo streaks in your hair." Katsuki said, remembering the time Shoto had dyed his hair with wine. "He did?" Shoto asked, a nod ensuing from the blonde standing besides him. "And he wondered how you learned to dance like all the rest of the world isn't there." Katsuki had only ever gotten a glimpse of Shoto ballroom dancing by himself, and it was amazing. They had only shared one dance, but it was nothing intimate. At least that's what Katsuki thought Shoto viewed it as such.

"But he kept it all inside his head, what he saw he left unsaid." Katsuki continued on. Shoto cast his gaze back out upon the ocean, and Katsuki followed suit. "If I could tell him, tell him everything I see.." Katsuki said, looking down and swallowing slightly. "If I could tell him, how he's everything to me." Katsuki said, his tone stern and genuine now. He let out a deep and heavy sigh, before sitting down on the grass, lit softly by the sky. "But what do you do when there's this great divide?" Katsuki questioned. Shoto sat next to him, nodding in agreement. "He just seemed so far away.." Shoto said, playing with the edges of his sleeve. "And what do you do when the distance is too wide?" Katsuki said, his voice rising in pitch. His head turned to Shoto, his confidence at its peak. "And how do you say, I love you.."
