King Katsuki, or as he preferred, King Explosion Murder, had been in rulings for about a year now. His kingdom was ruthless and cruel, a barbarian society. Katsuki had grown used to this, but it frightened off many newcomers. From the other side of the tracks, there was the Todoroki Kingdom. Very royal and official looking from the outside, but having some very deep-seated issues within the walls. King Enji was a brute, abusing not only his family, but also his subjects. Enji's son was Prince Shoto, a very soft-spoken, but fiercely determined man. 

The boys had met one night at a gathering of the kingdoms. King Enji had called upon the meeting in an attempt to find Shoto a wife. He was set to marry a woman named Yaoyorozu the following week. After Katsuki had caught the boy's eye, Shoto abandoned any fleeting hopes of ever loving Yaoyorozu. He knew he was done for as soon as he saw that devious smirk written into the blonde's face. He caught Shoto staring at him more than a couple of times, and each would result with a sneer from one, and a light blush from the other. 

Finally, they were properly introduced. Well, okay maybe not properly.. Unless you count making out for five minutes in an empty corridor before exchanging names a proper introduction. It was quite the crazy night to be honest, and Shoto was never expecting anything of the sort to happen upon him so suddenly. He had forgotten all about Yaoyorozu that night, the only thing on his mind the snippy male. 

The next day, Shoto had awoken in a very, very warm set of sheets. Except they weren't sheets. They were the tight embrace of a very naked boy behind him. The barbarian had his cape draped over his shoulders as he held onto the prince. Shoto only chuckled to himself for a moment, before closing his eyes once again. When they opened again, Katsuki was shouting something. He was sitting cross-legged on the bed, his entirety exposed to Shoto. "Good morning, princess!" Katsuki snapped. Shoto groaned and sat up, Katsuki's cape wrapped around his own shoulders.
