One on one for an hour three days a week is a bit rough.  At the same time you come out of that lesson with a ton of very specific corrections to work on.  It's great although very expensive.  Ms M and I the first day focused on turnout for the most part.  The second day we worked more on turnout and did a bit on turning.  In turning what Ms M is having us do is spot our opposite strap on our leotard.  So if I am turning left I would spot my right strap and if I was turning right I would spot my left strap.  The thing with turning is that there are so many variables.  You have to turnout, get your passé up quick up and to the front.  You have to get a quarter of a plié, with 60% of your weight on your front foot and 40% on your back foot.  Your arms have to be solid.  Also one of the other good corrections that Ms M gave was that your core is not just your abs but your core also is your back and they work together.  Then you have to land it...  Hahaha that's the hardest part for me.  You have to land solid.  One of the other suggestions Ms M gave was when you land no one should be able to push you over.  So Ms M began to start to try and knock me over, which actually it was hard to keep my balance.  Anyways, as always, have a great day and just keep dancing! ~Mia
