I have penned a thousand pieces about
Your absurd attraction toward the stars, and the moon,

For I love the stars, and the moon, too.

These bright little sparks - as they appear to me -
On the sky cover of this paling darkness,
Guide me to your world of wonders,
Where everything is golden,
And all hands sparkle with glitter,
And all hearts beat to the sound of your voice.
What a wonderful world it must be,
Where the sun sets in your glory,
And the moon arises in your desires!

I can vividly imagine
How your eyes must gaze upon the stars
In absolute serenity -
For another similarity between us
Is our shared yearning for peace
In the storms of our minds.
Perhaps I might never know the correctness of my thoughts,
For the stars might lead us away
Into entirely different dimensions of living,
But at the end of the night,
When the moon retires,
I keep it alive in the beats of my hearts;
I can hold you in me forever.

The pole star of my life -
You are the lights of my city,
And these stars could never compare.

The stars are fading away,
But their light will illuminate my soul,
For I might pen a million pieces about
Your absurd attraction toward the stars, and the moon,
But my hand will never cease,
For I love the stars, and the moon,
And I love you more.
