CHAPTER EIGHTEEN:
THE JENSKIN OR WHATEVER

"Who the hell is Harold Jenkins?"

Five sipped his Coffee, threw his cup away with force, before he answered with his endless knowledge, "I don't know."

Wow, so helpful.

"Yet," Well, at least he plans on finding out, "I just know he's responsible for the apocalypse. So we have to find him."

"He could be anywhere," Jason threw his hands up dramatically, "He could be in this house right now planning on raiding your action figures for all we know!"

(Harold Jenkins felt like sneezing but controlled himself and stole the Reginald action figure)

"Not- It doesn't matter we need to find him, now."

"But how is he connected to the apocalypse?"

"I don't know." Wow, more knowledge.

"Wait so you just know his name?" Diego said and came forward, "That's it?"

"Well," Jason looked thoughtful, "Once I had to find someone based on just their hair color, nothing else."

Klaus looked at him, "Did you?"

Jason huffed and crossed his arms and puffed out his chest, "Of course I did-"

"-After sleeping with him-"

"I was confused!"

Diego brought them back to the subject they were discussing before, "There are probably thousands of Harold Jenkins in this city."

"Kill them all?" Jason's wonderful suggestion went ignored.

"I'm sorry," Allison finally spoke up gaining everyone's attention, "Am I the only one skeptical here? I mean how exactly do you know all of this? About what's his name? And Who is that?" She pointed at Jason at the end.

"Harold Jenkins," Five put emphasis on every letter, "You know those lunatics in masks that attacked the house?"

"Oh yeah I think I remember those guys," Klaus rubbed the back of his neck. Diego agreed with him, "Yeah the ones that were trying to kill us while you two were drunk in a library.

Jason was about to open his mouth to argue about it being Five's idea to get drunk in a library instead of a bar like normal people, but decided against it. What he did, was to stop Five before he could say the borning nonsense about the commission and instead told them his better version,

"They work for the commission, which is this timey wimey agency place where they make certain people cause certain events or they stop people from stopping certain events, like stopping us stopping the apocalypse."

He flashed Five a smug grin and got an eye roll in return.

The rest of the Hargreeves nodded. They got it.
"We worked there, very cool gadgets, made me feel like James Bond," Jason turned to Five, "And you're clearly the Bond girl of the week."

Five rolled his eyes -He was doing that too much, his eyes might get stuck back there- and then took over the explanation, "I went to the commission and intercepted a message that was meant for the lunatics, protect Harold Jenkins, so he must be responsible for the apocalypse."

The siblings were quiet before they blew up with questions.

"My skin is on fire," Klaus said quietly prompting Jason to pat the uwu man on the back.

"Do you have any idea how insane this sounds?" Allison said in between her rambling causing Five to snap at her.

"Do you know what else is insane?" Five raised his voice, "I look like a 13-year-old boy, Klaus talks to the dead, Luther thinks he's fooling everybody with that overcoat, and Jason is a mutt. Everything about us is insane, always has. We didn't choose this life were just living it, for the next three days anyway."

"But the last time we tried to stop it we all died," Allison said and looked between Luther and Five, "Why is this time any different? Why shouldn't I go home to my daughter?"

"Because this time I'm here," Jason raised an eyebrow at the confidence Five had in himself but said nothing, let them have their hope. "We have the name of the man responsible. Guys, we actually have the chance of saving the lives of billions of people, Including Claire."

Allison looked at Five in shock, "You know her name?"

"I do, and I'd like to live long enough to meet her."

"Alright, let's get this bastard."

"You had me at Jerald Jenkins," Was Diego's intelligent response.

"Herold Jenkins," Five corrected.

"The least you can do when you're looking for a guy responsible for the end of the world is to memorize his name, just saying."

"Whatever." Nice. "We've already lost two people we're not losing anyone else."

"Luther?" Five asked, his voice strangely sounding like a small child. It broke Jason's heart.

Luther walked closer to Five from where he was leaning against the bar, "Yeah, you guys go, I wanna stay behind and go through dad's files. I still think this has something to do with why he sent me to the moon."

Ughhh, the moon. Again.

"Seriously? Now you want to make the end of the world about you and dad?" Thank you, Diego!

"What? No! Watch for threats, that's what he told me. This all has to be connected somehow."
"Doubtful but go off I guess."

"We should all stick together," Allison told Luther.

"We don't have time for this," Five told them both. Diego followed with a "Let's roll. Klaus, you're with me."

Klaus raised his head from where it was previously laid against the sofa's arm and Jason softly running his hand through his hair, "Yeah, I don't feel so good. I think I'll—" He stood up and started walking away after a brief hug to Jason, "I think I'll pass this one, feeling a little under the weather."

Diego and Five exchanged a look before walked out with Jason following closely.

Allison followed after a glance at Luther.

They all got in the car and left, to god knows where.
Jason was still drunk from when he had raided Reginald's bar and was sleeping against Five's shoulder in the backseat.

He woke up once when they stopped at the police station, he grumbled and shoved Five away and instead leaned against the window.

Five and Allison used their stop and stepped out of the car. Allison called her daughter while Diego went to get the case. Five just leaned against a wall and looked at Jason's sleeping face against the window. He looked ridiculous.

They got back in the car —Five opened the door Jason was leaning against making the Dog-boi to nearly falling on his face— and there Five informed the drunk-ish boy-man that Harold Jenkins is Leonard Peabody, which didn't ring any bells until he was told that the dude is Vanya's boyfriend.

He really needed to talk to Vanya about her sexuality cause this dude had all the wrong parts —and if Jason was good at anything it was Sexuality guessing, he has never been wrong and when he said Vanya radiated Gay he meant it.

He decided to sleep some more before they got to the Jenskin's house.

Jason was in need of some beauty sleep, let the man rest.
