Why is it that every time I go back to look at messages I need to see in the group chat, I can't bc of limited history >:((

So anyway, because Pizza is such a dad friend in headcanon(see Friends AU(not published yet)), @LightDancer365 suggested an AU set before BOTO in which Shieldy is 9, and Pizza is 15. This is after Shieldy was banished from his kingdom. Pizza finds Shieldy, and is pretty much his guardian from that point on. 

Though this AU is smaller and less detailed than some others, it can actually change the canon a bit.

Details about the AU:

-Because Pizza knows Hot Dog and Shelly(the latter in headcanon(see Dancer's Backstory Headcanon 2, in BOTO Stuff) since before BOTO, they had to have known Pizza was taking care of a child. The three of them care for Shieldy together. 

-Due to his connections to Pizza, Shieldy is probably chosen to be on Team Chocolate, rather than Team Vanilla in BOTO. 

-Shieldy could have developed a crush on Shelly in his time knowing her
