Time: 5:43 PM

People ran in fear from the ever coming destruction that fell from the sky. A man was falling down from the sky like a meteor, he crashed to the ground around the civilians that were panicking. A woman screamed as she was stuck under some debris which the man that fell from the sky heard. He got up from the miniature crater in the ground unharmed and flew over to the woman and lifted the debris off her. The man helped her up to her feet and a couple of firefighters escorted her away.

"KAL-EL! COME AND FACE ME OR LET THEM ALL DIE!" A voice boomed through the sky as Kal looked up at a figure floating in the sky.

Kal flew up to the man that was screaming at fast speeds punching him in the gut which had enough force to knock him away. "Enough Zod! End this now, people are getting hurt!" Kal demanded Zod but the Kryptonian just chuckled.

"You order me to surrender Kal? I will not give up until Krypton lives again!" Zod yelled in a sadistic voice.

"Then I have to stop you." Kal said with a little emotion in his voice.

The two Kryptonians flew at each other with great speed eventually colliding with each other. The two forces colliding caused a sonic boom that broke the glass around them and they both were knocked back by the impact. Kal grunt as he was knocked into a building with people still in it, he looked up at the terrified people that had no way of escape.

"Don't worry, I'll get you out." Kal got up from the ground when Zod flew into Kal grabbing him and flying out of the building.

"YOU RUINED EVERYTHING KAL, NOW I HAVE TO FIND A NEW WAY TO RESTORE KRYPTON TO IT'S PRIME!" Zod flew Kal-El into some glass and through a building.

Kal tumbled to the ground from Zod's power, Zod was more skilled in combat than Kal-El was which made this battle hard for him. So without any other methods of action Kal's eyes turned a bright red color as a red beam shot out of his eyes. The blast knocked Zod through a wall and into the streets below.

Location: Metropolis Streets
Time: 5:58 PM

The streets were clear of any sign of life, everyone who had the chance to leave got out. The battle of the two Kryptonians left the city in bad condition. A man was wandering around looking for any survivors, he wore business attire and had a five o'clock shadow. It was Bruce Wayne who had arrived at Metropolis because of the Kryptonians. He could hear the intense battle going on in the distance as it sounded like an intense thunderstorm. Bruce was cautious for any sign of life as it is.

"HELP ME! I'M STUCK!" A plead for help caught Bruce's attention and he rushed over to see a man's arm was crushed by debris from a building.

"It's okay, I'm gonna get you out. Just breath in and out this is gonna hurt." Bruce calm said while attempting to lift the debris up, he failed the first time but the second time he manages to move it up just enough for the man to get out. Bruce struggled to withhold that up as the veins popped out of his face and neck from lifting such a heavy object.

The man's arm was completely broken with no hope of recovery, the best method was amputation. Bruce let go of the debris and he began to breathe heavily from this. He walked the streets some more to find anyone when he looked up in the sky to see the people responsible for this destruction, the Kryptonians. He glared up at Kal-El and Zod who were in heated combat.

Zod threw a truck at Kal which knocked him into the streets below, Zod flew down there and landed next to a bus full of scared kids.

"You wish to protect these people so much Kal? Why waste your efforts with these humans, I was only trying to bring Krypton back to life, so we may thrive again." Zod tried to reason with Kal but he just glared at Zod.

"Krypton had it's chance Zod! This is their world, not ours, who are we to wipe them out?" Kal was angry with General Zod who was clenching his fists.

"I tried to reason with you Kal, now you'll watch them die!" Zod punched the bus into the water while Kal screamed out for the people.

Kai took off for the bus that was slowly sinking into the water, Zod saw this as a chance to kill more of humanity so he flew off while Kal dived underwater. He puts his hands on the bottom of the bus and he slowly began to lift it out of the water, the kids all screaming in terror until they saw they were back on land. Kal had flown the bus back to the mainland and he ripped the emergency bus door open. The kids were scared of him like he was some kind of monster to them.

"It's okay, I won't hurt you." Kal said in a gentle voice but the kids were still skeptical about him. But one kid got up from his seat and he walked to the back of the bus, Kal looked at him and helped him off the bus.

The other kids began to get up as well as Kal began to help them all off the bus one by one. "Now then, all of you go find your families I'm pretty sure they are worried sick about you. Some of them nodded a little terrified to speak and Kal understood why. One of the kids looked at him, it was the first kid who got off the bus. He looked at his families' shield and pointed to it.

"What's that symbol mean?" The kids finally spoke up to Kal which he looks down at it.

"This symbol, well on my world it means hope." Kal slightly smiled but the kid looked confused.

"But that's an s."

"Yeah here it's an s, I want this to be the symbol of hope. You should get back to your parents now, they must be very worried about you." Kal wanted the kid to get away from the area so he can take down Zod once and for all.

The kid started to walk off but then he ran up to Kal and gave him a hug. Kal was shocked at this at first but he returned the hug and the kid left the area. Kal's smile faded when he looked in Zod's direction.

"Now then Zod, let's finish this fight!" Kal leaped off into the sky and he took off flying at Zod's direction.

Bruce had seen a bunch of kids running off in a direction when he saw the two Kryptonians fighting again.

"What in God's name are you?" Bruce questioned the Kryptonian in the red and blue costume.
