Chapter 4-Brothers In the Making

"Rav, Rav... Troy?" Giovonni chanted and said Troy as Troy looked up shocked. "My ex-girlfriends here with here boyfriend, lets leave" Troy says. He stands up and we all walk back after I payed. "You know what we should do, we should get revenge on all your ex girlfriends if you have one" I say. They look at me and smile. "Lets do it" Troy says then the rest of the band agree's. "Operation sea cows is now in effect" I say in a official sounding voice. "YEA!!!! WAIT, WHAT????" David says.I say "I don't know but that one guy's licence plate said 'sea cow'  so it sounded cool, so I said it". They all nod looking unsure and Blake says "I like it". Giovonni lookes at him and says "Are you messed up in the head Troy, agree its and awesome idea". Troy says "I though you were going to be yelling at him not me". I blink and say "okay are you all in or what". Once we all agree I take them to my house. "Okay don't say anything stupid but you must have attitude towards my family, I don't really care" I say. I push the door open and you can hear my mother listening to Three Doors Down. "Follow me" I say and I guide them to my room. My dim room that was covered in black and my artwork seemed to amaze them. "Did you draw that" Giovonni asks pointing to my Black Raven poster. I nod and say "I made that after our first band meeting". I place a cd inside my radio and it starts to play. "Hey is that smells like teen spirit" Troy asks, I nod.I say "Okay so operation sea cow is when we get revenge on your ex girlfriends by hummm.... Any idea's because I haven't had alot of thought about this?" They all look at each other and shrug. "Raven get your butt down here now!!!!" a angery voice yells. I jump up and say "guys stay here". Troy looked horrified by the angery voice. "Please" I say and walk away. "I told you turn your crapy music off and who are those boys your hanging out with" my fahter shouts. He had a beer can on the table but he seemed to know what he was doing so he must not be drunk. "My new band mates dad" I say. "Don't roll your eyes at me and you best tell them to leave now" my dad says. I go to turn around to tell them when my dad grabs my arm and punches me in the ribs. I yelp in pain and I was about to scream mom's name when I realized she is at work now.He punches me and slams my head into the wall. "Please dad stop, your hurting me" I cry. He slaps me and pushes me into the wall.He bends my wrist and behind my back. "Oww stop please" I say. I don't want to hurt him even if I hate him. I hear feet stomp down the stairs and my dad grips my neak hard. He started choking me and then somthing knocks him to the ground.I drop to the ground gasping for breath and I see Troy on top of my dad punching him. The other boys start to fight him and then I close my eyes. Im in too much pain to stay awake. "Raven wake up" a voice, Blake's voice says. "I think she is dead, hear head is bleeding" David's voice says. "Oh my god we just paralyzed her dad and let her die were gonna go to jail and my most favorite person in the world(s) just died" Troy cries. I slowly open my eyes, "I think she is waking up" Giovonni says. I learn upand grunt in pain. My wrist is numb,my head aches, my eye hurts, and my ribs are killing me. "Why did he do this to you" Blake says concern filling his voice. "I don't know he does this alot when my mom leaves" I say. Troy looks at me and says firmly "pack your thing were gonna take you in as our sister". Giovonni nods and says "we can't let you stay here, they've hurt you too much". I nod because I've always wanted to leave. David helps me walk to my room, then we all start throwing all my stuff in a bag. "Gio go in the kitching and the top of the fridge has nine hundred dollars ontop" I say and throw some more crao in the bag I'm packing. "Hey Raven how come you only have six pairs of clothes" Blake says. I laugh dryly and say "Cuz my parents wouldn't buy me more clothes once I hit my growth spurt when I was seven". They nod and Gio comes back with the money I shove it in my. "You guys want some free things out of my brothers room, go ahed take anything ya want" I say. They walk out but Blake seemed to hesitate.I pick up my two boxes of things and my phone starts ringing. I set the boxes down and answer my phone. "Hey Rav so I just landed now can you give me directions to your house" my uncle, Billie Joe Armstrong says. I quickly say "Wait a minute I don't know the address let me go look". I set the phne down and run into my brothers room. "My uncle just got here he wants to know where I live, should we tell him the church address so we can tell him what happend" I say to David. He shakes his head and I say "why not he is a drunk and he knows what I'm..What we are going through this happend to him when he was my age". They finally agree and I tell Billie the address of the rundown church. Somhow they put all of the stuff they wanted in a box and we threw it all inside David's white van, that looks like a kidnappers van. We drive back and we go into the basement and I unpack my things. Once I finish me and the guys start our band practice.
