The Bible mentions that we were made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1: 26-27)
But ... what do you mean? To what God is equal to us physically or spiritually?

I had always thought that as he says in his own likeness, God was also like a person, I mean having 2 hands, 2 feet, etc.

But some time ago my leaders explained to me that it really refers to our being spiritually similar, that is, God has love ... we also, he shows mercy ... we can also give it, all those things.

But man's sin and evil corrupts this whole plan, there are times when we show the opposite of what God gave us.

Let us strive to show that similarity we have with God, what God has placed in us despite everything
