---Aphmau's Pov---

I was staring at the ceiling. I couldnt sleep, and was constantly looking at the clock. I shift in my bed repeatedly.

"Im going out there and im going to fight."

Ever sense O'Kasis guards started attacking, i had Brian standing in front of my door. Whenever i would try to see what was going on he would stop me. 'Garroth Said' Or whatever. Hes one of my friends yet he wont leave me unprotected. Everyone is in a safehouse thats under ground where there is enough food and room to last a century. I sigh and get out of bed.

"Irene! Where is my sword?!"

I look through my dresser. Basically holding the things i dont want my friends to see. I feel the bottom and i see the purple sword.

"Aha!"

I would normally grab armor but Garroth took it away because he didnt think i would need it because i shouldnt be without a guard at all times. I walk down to my basement, in which i made a secret tunnel towards the plaza for an emergency exit. I push the correct code and walk through sighing.

"I may not walk away from this."

I take the mask i had in my backpack and threw it on.

"Time to protect my village."

I run out from the mine and see a few guards in the plaza. I take them out an breathe in.

"Aph, you knew this was going to happen. You knew that running away from Scaleswind was going to cost you, and it may risk others."

I sigh and head towards the wall where my leg gets sliced but i swung around getting his face. I reach in my backpack to grab a completely black outfit. I run into the forest, and throw it on over my current ones. I throw on the cloak, which makes me totally unrecognizable. I breathe in deeply.

Time To Protect Your Family...

---Garroth's Pov---

I grip my sword swinging at multiple opponents. I would have normally given up to breathe for a moment but instead whenever i hit my target its like my heart is fueled to do more.

Its Because The More You Have To Kill, The More You Can Protect Aphmau.

I look over at Laurence who seems to have a ton of guards running at him. I attack half of them and realise that they arent going after him, but at.....

Aphmau's House...

"LAURENCE GET BRIAN AND APHMAU OUT OF THERE!!!"

He nods violently and sprints off, while me and Dante kill a whole bunch of them. I had a feeling they were mostly in the plaza so i had Dante kill the ones over there while i ran towards the plaza. When i get there i see a man cloaked in a black coat killing them.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN OUR VILLAGE?!"

The anger from O'Kasis not to mention that Aphmau was stuck in a house without anyone inside to keep her from freaking out just went all out. The guy in the mask turned towards me and runs off into the woods. I slay the last 2 and look down.
There are like 20 guys here!!

I wanted to chase after him because it felt like there was something about him. I decide against it and run towards the gates and accidently run into Laurence who looks more pale then white itself.

"G...G...Garroth Sh..She..."

I shake him.

"LAURENCE BREATH WHATS WRONG?!"

He breathes in deeply and his hand that wasnt holding his sword made a fist.

"She Wasnt In Her House Garroth....."

---Aphmau's Pov---

Once Garroth sees me i run into the forest hoping he doesn't get suspicious or anything. I get surrounded by a whole bunch of them by the gates because Garroth told him to look for me so i decided to take over for him.

I should tell them so they arent worried but then they will make me go back.

While i was thinking more of them came in and i was surrounded. I attempted to hit them but one of them got my sword.

"Alright Aphmau! Lets go and no one gets hurt."

I nod slowly, and bend down to pick up my sword. As i did i feel a sharp pain go through my side.

"GAH!!"

I see the O'Kasis blade inside the side of my body. I pick up my sword and try to fight but i cant stand upright and my vision is blurred. I hit a few of them, making them drop.

"Laurence go help the stranger ill keep looking for Lord Aphmau!"

I look up to see Laurence running straight towards me, and killing them left and right. I try to help but end up stumbling over.

"Follow me... what are you doing in our village?! Not to mention fighting.."

I stare at him and almost fall over frok dizzyness but he caught me.

"J....Just d..dont w..w..worry a..ab..about Aph....mau..."

He stops walking making me fall forward. When i gather enough strength to turn i see an emerald sword to my throat.

"DO YOU HAVE HER?!"

I gulp then try to grip my side and instead push the sword deeper, making me yelp.

"N..no.."

He nods and pulls me up as if he immediantly believes me. I grip around the sword and i keep stumbling everywhere.

"Whats your name?"

"Th...thats n..not imp....imp....important... w...hy a..are the....se g...guys he...re? Y...you ca....ca....can t..tell me, im g...going to e...end up d...dying any....way.."

"Garroth.... they are here for him..."

I nod as if in understanding. He doesnt know that what im about to do. Is not just going to kill me.... its going to save him...

---Laurence's Pov---

"T...Take m..m..me t..to th...e O...O'Khasis g..g..guards."

I stop moving and she looks at me with the mask on, her hands gripping around the sword.

"Why? I should take you to someone who can help you before you die."

"I wa..nt to. Pl...please."

I nod, not wanting her to speak anymore because she was losing so much blood.

We walk over to the empty house and i yell to get everyone's attention.

"This Woman would like to talk to you guys."

She limps forward almost falling and i see some of the guards smile wickedly.

"Pl...please st..op.."

The main guard in charge steps up and takes of her mask and cloak. As i gasp

"LORD APHMAU OH MY IRENE YOU HAVE TO GET HELP!!!"

Me, Garroth, Zenix, and Dante step forward but she puts her and up making her fall over.

"O...O'Khasis g..gu...guards. I w..will co..come wi....wi...with y..you and y..you m...m....may k..kill me. Ju...jus...just lea..leave. N..o com..coming ba..back for Ga...Garroth.."

The lead guard bows and shakes hands with Aphmau.

"I..ill go wi...th you i..in a m..month."

They nod and every guard leaves while i see Aphmau drop like a weight.

"LORD APHMAU!!"

We run towards her and tell Brian to grab Zoe, Kiki, and Lucinda. I see Garroth gulp.

"G..Guys we have to get this sword out of her!"

I nod slowly and i look over at Zenix who looks mad at something and he shakes his head as if he is thinking about something.

"GAHHH!!"

I wince as i see Garroth rip the sword from her side. A few tears fall down my face as i see her crying.

"Why did you leave your house Aphmau?!?!"

"I....Im not sc..scared to d..do wh...what i h..have to d..do to sav...save my vi..vi..village."

I hug her and i look to see Garroth with his helmet off.

"Lord Aphmau.... you shouldnt have done that. You have changed our lives! You should have never left your house!"

She smirks making even Dante cry.

"Ma...ke s....sure th...the ne...xt L..Lord c..ca.....cares fo...for Phe...Pheonix Dr...Drop."

"Guys there has to be another way! ANY OTHER WAY!!!"

They stare at me as if they never heard me raise my voice before.

"I........Im F....Fearless......."

Alright everyone im just gonna tell you guys what i wanna do coming up for the book.
