Yes, I'm doing those silly movie end credits sort of thing with the song xD I'll probably come back a few months after publishing and think "what the hell was I thinking??" But it's pretty cool to me right now, and I tend to live in the moment, then regret it afterwards. Besides, I'm like, totally obsessed with this song.

Plus, the blue lights?? So in theme with the story.

I did it… I actually wrote an entire novella of 21k words in 3 weeks with zero planning beforehand for the Ambys and managed to edit it somewhat. Just pure pantsing my whole way through. Despite my mental health, or lack thereof, and limited time. Way to go, Mila. I'm so proud of you.

Even though I haven't had time to add in more details, emotions, and deeper look into Aria, I'd still say what I wrote was good enough.

This will be also my third time submitting a work into the 8CC. I did already receive a pitch offer from Wattpad for the first one, but why not submit again? It's pretty fun, and I always love a challenge.

I just realized that my very first 8CC was in August last year, so this August is basically my one-year anniversary of being on Wattpad and participating in the challenge, except I've improved so much, like in everything, and I would have never expected to be where I am today. I am super proud of myself.

Aria and Sky's story is not over just yet. I might write a second novella or a novel that continues their journey, but that will depend on if readers will want me to. I'm here to serve you :D

I've enjoyed writing this story. It's been cathartic to me in a huge way, mostly because I've included a decent part of myself into Aria, so it's helped me deal with my stuff. Therefore, I will not be seeking or accepting any criticism for the story, like, ever. Please don't speculate which parts are me<33 But one thing for sure, I've never fought monsters  or battled oozing tentacles xD

But watching people liking it so much, especially the spicy scenes which I still can't believe I actually wrote them LOL (yes, I'm embarrassed), has meant a lot to me, and thank you guys for the awesome comments.

t's no secret that I love writing gore and action together with emotional moments between the two love interests. You might see this pattern in The Lethal Encounter as well, which was my first action book and from which I've learned a lot while writing it, thanks to ganbaruby Yes, I'm thanking you again, Kae, because all the advice you gave me is invaluable and improved my writing so much. Without it, I'd probably still be at the same place that I was earlier this January. I can only hope to repay you for all your help one day. I love you so much hugs.

Okay, enough of the emotional blabber. Some people have compared it to a Tarantino movie, which is one of the highest forms of praise for me, so if you love Tarantino movies, you'll love this. I won't lie, I wrote this during my K-Pop only era, so you'll find some references to them scattered throughout xD
