Main characters in the story - Special agent Karan Shergill and Dr. Monami.

Back story, 

Trainers and trainees were camping in a forest together...They were there for 2 days, as per plan on the 2nd day of the camp, in evening they will leave back for parakaram...So, as decided all packed their bags to leave...They came in 3 jeeps...On way to here Faizi and karan came in one jeep together...But now when they are leaving, karan and monami were angry from eachother and were not talking, actually monami was not talking to karan due to his rich kids comment...✨

Cut to, present day -

They were leaving for parakaram...Faizi decided to play cupid, karan and monami were not talking...So just for them to have some alone time, Faizi jumped in the same jeep as koel and told monami to go in karan's jeep...Monami and karan both looked at him shocked...

Monami - naa..hii...nahii mein sid sath hi jaati hu...

Karan - He looked at her, he knew she's not talking to him...He said han Faizi tu aaja naa...

Faizi - Karan ab mein baith gya naa, Monami it's okay karan abhi special agent mode mein ni hai...jao baith jao uske sath...

Sid - Han na monu bro..jaa naa.. winking at her...

Monami - Ohhkayy...Giving sid a look...

All of them sat in their respective jeeps, karan and monami were now in the 3rd jeep together, they were alone...All left together...Sid n Faizi were in ahead of karan...Karan was at the back, making sure none of them gets lost in the forest... Suddenly Sid n Faizi decides to have a race...They did...Karan was fine with it...Now that Sid n Faizi have already left, there were only 2 of them on the road, it was pin drop silence...Monami wasn't looking at him, she was just staring out of the window and he was driving... Suddenly a very dark patch came in the forest, there were no lights...Karan tells her to lock her car door just to be safe, she looks at him annoyed but does as he says...They were crossing that patch, when suddenly some men appear from the dark in front of them and stopped their car...Monami got little scared, they didn't seem to be good...Karan was hesitant too but he stopped and asked them the reason to stop them...They tried to talk to karan first, they asked for a lift...There were 2 men, Karan looked at Monami, If he was alone...He would have given them the lift but they already didn't seem to be right people, they were only talking when, out of nowhere a 3rd man appeared infront of them and tried to loot them...Karan being a special agent quickly got out and kicked the two of them but the 3rd one held monami and put a knife on her neck...Karan's heart skips a beat on seeing that, he takes a step back and says okay here take this, he keeps his wallet and mobile on the car bonnet...One of them picked them up when suddenly one of the goons started to tease monami and touch her...Karan was fuming in anger now...

Monami - She was soo scared, she calls his name - Kaa..rann..

Karan - Aayee, leave her...By saying that, he kicks him in the stomach...He was just going to kick the other two too when one of them shot him in fear...

There was utter silence for few seconds...The goons ran in fear and monami was shocked seeing what just happened...He forwards his hand to hold her...She ran to him, he was about to kneel down on the ground when she held him in her arms and patted his cheeks asking him not to close his eyes...Karan was still conscious...They both kneel down on the ground, Monami was crying by now and was angry on him...

Monami - Karan tum kyu aaye unke saamne?? Kya zarurat thi (Tears were falling from her eyes)

Karan - Mein theek hu, kaha gye vo..tum thk ho??

Monami - karaann, tum thk ni ho...She said sobbing badly...

He tried to get up but couldn't, bullet hit in top of his left shoulder blade, monami quickly got up and wrapped a cloth on his wound, so he doesn't bleed out...Then she lends him her support and lifts him up...He was going to sit in the drivers seat...

Monami - Karan tumhara dimag kharab ho gya hai, tum drive kaise karoge...??

Karan - He couldn't speak a lot, he says Me..iinn...Mein karlunga...bai..thoo...

Monami - Nahi karan, tum nhi drive kar skte...Tum baitho...

On saying that, she makes him sit in the passenger's seat...Karan asks, tum drive karlogi?? Monami says han I'll drive...

Monami sits on the driving seat and looks at him...He was in pain but he tried so hard not to show that, she asks him - Karan bhtt dard ho rha hai?? Yaha se academy kitni dur h?? 

Karan - Na..hi... 3 ghante...(he says flinching his eyes in pain)

Monami - Karan hum 3 ghnte ni ruk skte, yaha aas pass kuch hai?? We have to get u to a hospital...

He shook his head in a No...

Monami starts the car saying tum bas mujhse baat krte raho karan, guide me...I'll drive...He nods his head in a okay...She was driving for 15-20 mins now...He was badly in pain right now, there was No Vehicle, No Shop, nothing was to be found on the road...She looked at karan and said karan yaha toh kuch bhi ni hai...kya karu ab mein?? You really need to be operated right now...She said with tears flowing down her cheeks...He looked at her and with half opened eyes he takes a deep breath and gathers courage to speak...

Karan - Mo..nami..me..in thk hu...don't wry...Keep driving...

Monami - I can't karan, I can't...yaha aas pass kuch bhi ni h...There is not even a clear road...it's all forest aas pass...I donno...She was driving when suddenly she saw a hut at a distance and says - Karan vo dekho, vaha ek ghar hai...We can go there and waha se we can call someone for help...

For Faizi and Sanjana they saw that karan is not behind them but as decided at the start that if someone gets lost and there is no network, they will directly meet at parakaram...So they continued driving...

Back to karan and Monami -

He was hesitant at first but then he nods his head in an okay after...they went near the hut...She got down and knocked the door, there was probably no one in the cottage...She had no other option, she tried to push the door 3-4 times to break it's lock...It finally opened...She got karan down from the car, and took him in...

There was no one inside.. no landline, no nothing...Their phones were already taken by the goons, so they had no way to communicate to anyone...Monami was badly panicking right now...She made karan lie down on the sofa and was sobbing...Karan saw that, he was breathing heavily...He gathers courage to speak and says Monami, kyu itna pareshan ho rhi ho...This is not the first time jab mujhe goli lagi ho... I a..mm... I'm an officer, mujhe pehle bhi bahot baar goli lagi hai... I'm oka..yy...Saying that his voice cracked and he started panting for breath...Monami wiped her tears and opened the top buttons of his shirt, so he can catch his breath...He wasn't looking good at all now...She quickly got up and started searching for a first aid kit...She found it and came back...She was about to sit near him, when she saw that he was getting cold...She quickly runs to get him a quilt, she in seconds wraps him in a quilt...He looks at her, he knew that she's really worried right now and more than his wound, what he was worried was her being worried...He tries to light the mood by saying, rani sahiba...She looks at him with tears filled eyes and says kya?? He continues by saying, pareshan mat ho...Tum khud doctor ho, itna pareshan kyu ho...tum kr skti ho issey theek...:))

Monami - karan mujhe pta hai mein kar sakti hu...but yaha mere pass kuch bhi ni hai, ki mein tumhari bullet nikal du karan... blood loss ho rha hai... Mujhe kuch samajh ni aa rha mein kya karu...She says holding back her tears...

Karan - Dekho, lambi saans lo...Aur dekho apne aas pass...tum kr skti ho...Hum bhi jab mission pe hote hai...(he takes a deep breath) ta..b...tab humey bhi har cheez nhi milti, but kam resources main bhi kaam karna ek soldier ko aana chahiye or hum krte hai...Same way tu..m...tum ek doctor ho...tumm krlogi...

She looks all over, gets up and goes to the kitchen...takes a knife...puts some water on the gas...runs to the jeep to get out her first aid kit too...It had some bandages, disinfectant, stitching needle...It had all that...She got that out...She quickly comes in, put the first aid kits on the table near him... gets that hot water bowl and keeps that too on the table...She runs to grab some hand towels...

After arranging everything near him, she comes n sits near him...He was concious all this while...If it would have been a normal person, he wouldn't have been able to be conscious for that long but karan being a soldier, he's tough and that's the reason he's still up right now...

Monami - Karan, utho thoda...she lifts him up a little and opens the buttons of his denim shirt...She looks at the wound, and says Karan...mein bullet toh Nikal dungi but what if you need blood urgently...Karan, this can be too dangerous...She was badly scared...

Karan - Monami, kuch ni hoga...You know your job...tum krlogi...

Monami - She looks at him, and says but mere pass na anesthesia hai karan...Naa hi kuch issey numb karne ko...Mein kaise karu...

Karan - It's okay, tum bullet nikal skti ho??

Monami - Han but tumhe dard hoga kyuki mere pass kuch ni hai numb karne ko...

Karan - It's okay, kuch ni hoga...do it...

Monami - But karan, her hands were shaking...

He looks at that, and takes her hands in his hands saying, it's okay Monami...Tum krlogi...He was loosing time...She takes a deep breath and says okay...She cleans wound first...And now it was time to get the bullet out, it wasn't that deep in the skin...She could easily see it, it was stuck in the shoulder blade...She tells him, karan ab...take a deep breath... I'm about to take the bullet out...He nods in his head in an okay, takes a deep breath...She takes the sterilized knife and pokes it in his skin to take the bullet out...She was being extra careful, he flinched in pain and held the sofa really tightly with one of his hand...She pressed the knife deeper, and he screamed in pain...She already had tears in her eyes, she can't see him pain...She stops for a second...And starts rubbing her hand on his arms saying bas karan, aur 5 min...please...He opens his eyes, he was in hell pain...he nods in his head in an okay and she continues...She finally pulls that bullet out...

Karan - aaahhh, he was clenching his other fist tight on Monami's arm right now...

She takes out the bullet, cleans the wound and says, karan now I'll have to stitch it...theek hai, he without opening his eyes says okay with nodding his head...

She takes out the stitching needle and starts stitching his wound, he just turned his head in the other direction, clenching his fist hard and says, Ja..ldii monami...

She finished doing that, she was bandaging his wound...And says karan mere pass tetanus ka injection bhi ni hai...I'm really scared, tumhe raat raat mein infection na ho jaaye...Yaha sachme kuch ni hai kya aas pass, she says still wrapping the bandage...He looks at her with blood red eyes and moves in his head in a no... saying nhi aas pass kuch ni hai...She finished bandaging him...She knew he's really in pain...She got up and cleared all the mess that was on the table...She was soo scared for him...She quickly takes out painkiller medicine from the kit and gave it to him...He takes it, she continues by saying karan you need blood too, tumhara bhtt blood loss bhi hua hai...

Karan - Monami, 2 baatein...

She instantly raises her fingers, he smiles faintly and says...Pehli, I'm okay... Dusri, yaha kuch ni hai...ab jo hoga vo kal hi hoga...So stop worrying so much...

Mu..jhe kuch ni hoga... This is not the first time, jab mujhe goli lagi ho...It's okay, u did your job...thank you...She looks at him with worried eyes, he was covered in cold sweat from the pain, she wipes his head with a towel and says So jao karan thodi der, subhah hote hi, we'll leave...

He says okay and closes his eyes...She decides not to sleep, she wanted to look after him...
