As the fight went on in the castle Antonio was walking around on the upper floors. He kicked in every door to find the Beast.

Lovino had Francis cornered and he pointed his flaming torch at the melting candle.

"Aha! Fear not Francis!" Arthur yelled as he entered the room wearing a pirate hat and a scissor in his hand. He laughed loudly as he scooted down the banister of the stairs and attacked Lovino who backed away after being cut with the scissor on his leg.

Feliciano and Julius rode as fast as they could towards the castle where the poor dog had run into the kitchen while being followed by a bunch of men.

They thought that they were alone but soon all the knives jumped up and the stove laughed as fire erupted.

"Kol Kol Kol Kol...!" He smiled and all the men ran out and retreated from the castle.

"And stay out!" Arthur yelled and received a kiss on each cheek from Francis.

Ludwig sat in his room looking out the window with sorrow as Antonio busted through the door.

The Beast looked at Antonio and then back to the window as an arrow was shot from Antonio's bow.

Ludwig roared in pain as Antonio pushed him through the window and unto the balcony and the further to the roof.

Ludwig was laying on his stomach and looked up at Antonio as he went to the wounded Beast.

"Get up! What's the matter Beast?! Too kind and gentle to fight back?!" Antonio yelled as he laughed and Ludwig looked away.

At this point Antonio had broken off a part of the roof and lifted it over his head ready to finish it while walking closer to the beast.

"NO!" It sounded from the ground and Ludwig opened his eyes to see Feliciano look up at him in fear.

"Felici-..." He whispered. "NO! ANTONIO DON'T!" Feliciano yelled as Antonio swung his weapon at the Beast.

Ludwig managed to catch the weapon before it hit him and he faced Antonio.

As Feliciano ran into the castle Ludwig fought off Antonio.

He pushed the man to the edge of the roof while hiding in the shadows.

Antonio smashed the gargoyles thinking that he might hit the Beast while yelling.

"Come out and fight Beast! Would you honestly think he would love you?!"

Ludwig snuck unto Antonio but didn't manage to attack before Antonio span around and fought the Beast back.

"IT'S OVER BEAST! FELICIANO IS MINE!" Antonio yelled and tried to take a swing at the Beast bit he was angered and punched Antonio and held him by his collar over the edge.

"LET ME GO!" Antonio yelled slight fear in his eyes as he held unto the Beast's wrist.

Ludwig's expression softened as he pulled the man back unto the roof he couldn't kill anyone.

"Get out!" He grumbled and pushed Antonio so he fell unto his back.

"Ludwig!" Feliciano called as he made his way to the balcony and Ludwig smiled at the boy.

"Feliciano...?" He asked and crawled up the roof to take the hand that was held towards him.

Ludwig made his way to the boy and held his hand gently as he caressed the boy's cheek.

"Feliciano... You came back..." They smiled at each other for a second before Ludwig roared out in pain.

Blood painted his shirt as he was stabbed in the side and pushed Antonio with his large hand.

The spaniard fell from the roof with a yell as he tried to grab anything. But there was nothing and he fell to what seemed like his death.

Feliciano helped Ludwig to the balcony where he laid down in pain.

Iryna, Arthur and Francis all made it there, although no one noticed the single petal still left on the withering rose.

Feliciano stroked Ludwig's cheek softly with worry.

"Y-you came back..." Ludwig said with a struggling smile.

"Of course I came back...! I couldn't let them-... Oh! This is all my fault... If only I had gotten here sooner!" Feliciano said, his voice threatened to break at any point.

"Believe me... It's better this way..."

"Don't talk like that! You'll be alright...!" Feliciano said tears filling his eyes.

"I'm here now! We are together! Everything will be alright!" Feliciano did his best not to cry.

"Feli... At least I got to see you... One... Last... Time..." He said as his eyes closed and his body fell limp.

Feliciano shook his head in horror as his tears streamed down his face.

"No... No. No! Please... Please don't leave me...!" Feliciano hugged the limp body and hid his wet face in Ludwig's chest.

"I love you..." He whispered as the last petal fell from the rose and the glow disappeared.

The only sound heard at the castle was Felicianos quiet sobs.
