"

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful castle home to a beautiful yet cold hearted princess. She would always host wonderful balls but only allowed people who were beautiful on the outside and highest nobles to attend them

Of younger years before the queens death, the princess was kind, loving and caring to those around her. But upon the beloved queen's death, an incurable illness, the princess' father, the king, turned that sweet girl, into a vicious, cold hearted and twisted woman. A female version of himself.

Upon his passing of a hunting trip gone wrong, the young princess took the throne, yet still needed a queen of her own. The kingdom didn't judge if she preferred to be with a fellow woman, it wasn't bad to them, but some people thought with how twisted she had become, they would pity whomever she wedded.

One day, of a night of one of those wonderful balls, a old woman was at the doors of the castle. She frail and tired, she begged the princess to let her stay the night as her payment would be a single beautiful rose. The princess laughed and dismissed her, as the woman, who was a witch, turned to her true form. A beautiful woman as her eyes were blue as a Witches Flower.

The princess begged for forgiveness, but it was to late. The witch cursed the princess and all who lived in the castle. The princess had until the last petal falls of the rose, the same one offered as a payment that was spelled, to learn to love and have someone to accept her love back.

The people of the kingdom, suddenly forgot of their princess, and the families forgot their loved ones who were cursed by the witch of her curse. After the years that passed of the curse, the cursed princess turned crest fallen and hopeless, watching as the petals each fell. Loosing the hope she had of ever being freed from her curse.

"

"Daddy, that was sad.." The ten year old Y/n said to her father, her father sitting at her bed as he read her a story. "Did the princess at least be free from her curse? What did she be cursed into?" F/n gave a laugh as he patted the top of his daughter's h/c head. "Unfortunately, it says of neither. The story ends at that, and it never in my life explained what the princess was turned into." F/n said making Y/n wine at that.

"Alright, time for bed now my dear." F/n said as he jestered Y/n to lie down as he tucked her in. "Daddy?" F/n hummed at that, "Is this a real story?" Y/n asked her father as she held her old doll close to her. "I'm not sure my dear. I honestly wish I knew myself. And you know how I hate keeping secrets." He told her, rubbing the top of her hair. "If it is, I wanna be able to help this poor princess when I get older." Y/n said making her father smile.

"That's my wonderful girl," he said as he kissed her forehead. "Your just like your mother." He said, as he carefully blew out the candle at her end table with her various other books. "Sweet dreams my wonderful bookworm." He said, "Goodnight daddy. I love you." Y/n said as she closed her eyes. "I love you too my dear." F/n said as he left his daughter's bedroom, closing the door behind him.

Y/n looked at her old doll in her arms after opening her eyes once her father left the room. It looked just like her but with slight differences, signaling who it was of. "Goodnight mommy, I love you." She said as she hugged her doll more as she closed her eyes again and let herself be taken' in the warm embrace of her dreams and sleep.
