"Tragic news this evening as we learn more details about the disastrous crash that took place earlier today during the Austrian Grand Prix. Joshua Park, son of racing legend Joohyun Park, has passed away at the age of twenty-three. His family has released a statement saying, quote, 'To our family, friends, and fans at Auden and Formula 1, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of son and brother, Joshua Park, who, surrounded by loved ones, succumbed to his injuries late this afternoon. Joshua joined F1 in 2016, continuously inspiring the whole of the racing community with his courage and passion for motorsport, and died doing what he loved most. We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this incredibly difficult time, and in the future hope to share the legacy Joshua leaves behind. At this time, we ask for privacy and understanding as our family mourns this immense loss'..."
