Here in full is how Alsagiana came to be, long before the lands were named or before the land dwellers walked the land. Before the Zepherosen taught the land walkers to MindSpeak, before the Zepherosen were even birthed of fire. This is the story of Earth, Time, Wind, Fire and a little Rain.

The story starts with the love of Void, he was made of nothing ness but he brought forth many beings, the two largest besides himself were Mother Earth and Father Time. For the most part they were wondering spirits that really manifested into forms.

When Mother Earth and Father Time met, for Void was vast, he was like the midnight sky.

Mother Earth and Father Time cast them selves from Void's embrace. Mother Earth called forth land for her and Time to live on, and Time called upon change, so life wouldn't be boring.

Before long Void cast down two more spirits, one named Fire and the other Wind. He sent them to keep Time and Earth company, and with Fire and Wind he sent a note, "You asked me how it was up here for me, so here you go."

Fire was bore with a rest less soul, it only got worse as he grew older. Until it crackled and he became to hot to tame, even by he Mother Earth. One day Father time went to him and said, " Fire, my son, I know its hard but your breaking your mothers heart."

Fire looked up from his tears, they made Rain(but that's a story for another time), he said to his father "Why is everything I love I set aflame?"

"I know not." Said Time sorely.

At the same time across the world Mother earth when to her beloved child Wind. Wind was born to the open sky, with a bad temper and a curiosity that kept him on the move. Earth said to Wind, "My dear child, I once was that wild, I couldn't find out why I was filled with pain until I met Time. This thing you run from is Shame" Earth smiled at her child.

Wind stifled his sobs, "Mother Earth leave before I freeze you to!" and he whipped away to the frozen northern lands.

Mother Earth and Father Time when to Void, his midnight skin shrouded them in the night they ventured way. "Void," they cried together, "We love Wind and Fire but they are to different! Loving them both is going to kill us."

"Wind is so bitterly cold and Fire is to hot for you?" Asked Void, he is ever parent and sees all as special and perfect.

Earth shook, "Yes, but I love them so mush."

"Remember when you asked me how it was for me?" Earth and Time nodded, " Well rising them was many times easier then teaching everyone else. Time you were horrible to your sister Youth, you aged her, grayed her blackness, made her bleak and blind and crumbled her remains to dust."

Void in full of darkness but fare, turned to Mother Earth, "Earth you were wild and savage, untamable by all. Only my vastness kept you contained from hurting the others, even now you wreak havoc on your brothers and sisters. You shake and throw up dust to blind the Sun, you spew molten core so hot it puts shame to Fire's heat."

Seeing both his children holding back tears he went on more gently, "You also do great good too. Time you made change so that no one thing is ever to strong, and Earth you brought forth land to feed and house us."

"Long ago you asked me what it was like for me up here, and I sent you Fire and Wind, one who was to hot to tame and the other to bitterly cold. So now all you have to understand is how to show them how much you love them, even if it dose kill you." Void sent Mother Earth and Father Time back to their home.

Earth went to Fire and said, " Dear Fire, everything you love you set aflame, and I love you. Would you in any way turn here and set me aflame? I know you love your little child Rain, Would you turn her away because she was scared of harming you?"

Fire laughed, "Mother Earth, I am Fire and she Rain, my flame cant burn her, but every time I let myself love your land it burns to dust. Mother Earth don't you understand, I bar myself to save you!" And Fire tore away from Earth, he left with Rain clinging to him in despair.

While at that same time, Father Time was across the wide expanse of land, he held with him Wind. "Child Wind, You shouldn't run from us, Mother Earth is only trying to love you, and I take pride in you. I know you wish to know much, but when you leave you bring bitter coldness to the lands."

Wind scoffed at his father, "Time if only you knew." Wind in a flurry disappeared into the night.

So for many eons Wind ran rampart, he brought with him the bitter cold that froze his Mother Earth and slowed down his Father Time. Wile his brother Fire learned from his Mother Earth, while he burned her accidentally, he learned from Rain how to grow and create.

Rain formed Clay, and Clay was scalded by Fire, so Fire made stone. Rain showed her father Fire how she called down water from Void, thus she settled her fathers temper.

As Wind ran wild; Fire, Rain, Clay, and Time worked as best as they could to form harmony, or at least treaty's of peace. Thus Wind blows bitterly in the northern Light Lands, while deadly Fire and Time work in synch with Rain and the sleepy Earth in the lands of Alsagiana. For, by know, the land Mother Earth had called forth, had become so loved by all, that it was given a name. For everything had a name, so it was called Alsagiana, witch means "Balance".

A balance of both Father Time and Mother Earth, a balance of Fire and Wind, and a balance of Void, he who gives and takes life. A place were every thing has an effect, like a ripple in a pond, it shall set afloat many lives and stories.

So now it is told were one story ends another begins. In the fallowing you may see the story of how the Zepherosen were birthed of Fire, or how Wind formed Cloud with Rain. Maybe next time I will tell you how Clay formed the Wayle, or of how Time begged Void not to take his beloved Earth away. But like I said with Rain....It is another story for another day.
