●Ian was originally supposed to go a little bit insane, more of because of anger. He was the first to catch onto Seto's odd behavior and because of that, Ian would go raving mad. But I didn't like it so yea...

● It was supposed to be discovered earlier in the book that Seto wasn't alive. The original scene was a herd of cattle running through, and while everyone was trying to dodge them, Ian noticed that the cows ran right through Seto, no matter how hard he tried to dodge them. This is the scene that would caused Ian to start going off his rocker. But obviously it never happened.
