Bimbo didn't know long she cried. She just wanted to hug someone. She just wanted someone to tell her it was going to be fine. By the time she got back to her senses Bimbo was shocked to discover that she was hugging Jeremiah and quickly moved away from him.

"Snr Jerry" Bimbo said not knowing where to start her apology from. Her eyes widened upon seeing Jerry's slightly soaked shirt.

"I...... I.... I.... " Bimbo started as she continued stammering.

"Its okay Abimbola. We all get tired. We all do so once in a while; its okay to cry. You'll be fine" Jeremiah said as he stretched his water bottle towards Bimbo.

"Take some water and rinse your face. I'm kinda late for a class and I need to change my shirt so I'll see you later" Jeremiah added as he walked away leaving Bimbo dazed.

Bimbo quickly rinsed her face with water and took a few gulps before seating down on the cemented chair and staring into space as Jeremiah's words echoed in her ears.

You'll be fine.

"Bimbo!" Bimpe called as Bimbo stood up with a small smile.

"Are you okay?" Tunmise asked as Bimbo stared at the girls and her heart went soft with the worried looks on their faces.

"I'm fine" Bimbo replied as Bimpe let out a sigh of relief.

"I was wondering why you would need the hostel keys when school just barely started. How did your shirt get soaked?" Farouq asked as Jeremiah brought out a well ironed shirt and pulled it on.

"Find out what happened yesterday when I left my prep class" Jeremiah replied as Farouq slipped his hands into his pockets.

"What's wrong with Bimbo?" Farouq asked as Jeremiah finished buttonibg his shirt.

"I saw her crying" Jeremiah replied an edge in his voice as Farouq frowned.

"Crying? I'll check" Farouq said as he glanced at Jeremiah and sighed.

"If this is what love does to people, I don't want to fall in love. Its exhausting" Farouq said as Jeremiah glared at him.

Bimbo sighed as she finished her assignments and closed her books. She put her books in her bag and seeing Jeremiah's bottle at the side of her school bag, she pursed her lips and placed her head on her locker as Jeremiah's face popped up in her head. His words came rushing back to her again.

"Its okay Abimbola. We all get tired. We all do so once in a while; its okay to cry. You'll be fine"

Bimbo wore a soft smile and grabbed the bottle and fondled with it. It was actually a nice bottle and she held it with her ring finger the way Jeremiah used to hold it.

"Is this the way he holds it?" Bimbo asked no one in particular.

"You seem better" Bimpe said and Bimbo nodded.

"I am better" She replied as Bimpe nodded.

"So who owns the bottle?" Bimpe asked as Bimbo froze before she slowly returned the bottle to her bag side pocket.

"A friend?" Bimbo asked as Bimpe chuckled.

"Why did your answer sound like you are asking me a question?" Bimpe asked as Bimbo wore an awkward smile.

Bimbo looked around waiting for Jeremiah. She wanted to thank him and she couldn't do that in front of everyone.

"Why are you seating in front of the class?" Someone asked and Bimbo had heard the voice too many times not to know the owner and she quickly stood up and dusted her house wear.

"Snr Jerry" Bimbo greeted as Jeremiah tilted his head at her.

"Are you okay now? Better?" Jeremiah asked and Bimbo smiled at him and nodded.

"Very much better. Thanks to you" Bimbo replied as Jeremiah nodded.

"That's better. I didn't do anything though" Jeremiah said as Bimbo smiled.

"I really have problem with my Physics" Bimbo said as Jeremiah turned to her and chuckled.

"Wait, why do I feel like you are turning me into a lesson teacher?" Jeremiah asked as Bimbo burst into laughter.

"You are really fine" Jeremiah said and Bimbo smiled.

"Huh?" She asked.

"You laughed. I wanted to be sure you were really fine" Jeremiah said as he walked into the class leaving Bimbo outside slightly dazed.

"Tunmise" Bimbo called as Tunmise turned to her.

"Why would someone care about you?" Bimbo asked as Tunmise raised her brow because they care about you.

"Affection can be faked right?" Bimbo asked and Tunmise nodded her head.

"Sure. A lot of people do" Tunmise replied as Bimbo pursed her lips.

"Tunmise" Bimbo called again as Tunmise dropped what she as doing and faced Bimbo.

"Are you bothered about something?" Tunmise asked and Bimbo shook her head.

"No. I'm not. I'm just curious. Can someone you don't know help you?" Bimbo asked as Tunmise folded her arms.

"Why don't you tell me the whole story so I can answer your questions properly?" Tunmise asked as Bimbo shook her head.

"Never mind" Bimbo said as she laid on her bed and faced the wall.

"So stingy. And I wanted to hear gist oo" Tunmise said as she laughed.

"Aishhhh..... That boy is going to be the death of ms. I can't handle him at all" Sewa said as the girls burst into laughter.

"Wahala for person wey no get boyfriend o " Jemimah said before they all burst into laughter again.

"Kaning is the next bayi. I saw her and Tomisin working on the article thing. See the way they looked cute together" Faidat said as Ing blushed.

"Your head keeps conjuring nonsense up nonsense" Ing said as Faidat snickered.

"Orrh.. You think I did not see you blushing?" Faidat asked as the girls burst into laughter.

"You girls are annoying" Ing said as Sewa laughed.

"So you know how it feels now. When you will be teasing me as if you won't like someone in your life" Sewa said as Ing laughed.

"Oya sorry" Ing as she turned to Faidat.

"See person wey dey talk? If not because Danlami doesn't attend our school, won't you be the first person to have a boyfriend?" Ing asked as Sewa and Jemimah burst into laughter.

"And you sef, shame never catch you! You never find your type? " Ing asked Jemimah as the girls roared with laughter.

"And this thing is not funny o" Jemimah said still laughing.

"You still dey laugh?" Sewa asked as the girls burst into laughter again.
