TAKEMICHI HAD WOKEN UP IN the hospital. "You're awake." Kokonoi spoke as Ichirou was right next to him.

"Koko-kun. Imaushi-kun." Takemichi noted.

"You've been unconscious for 3 days..." Kokonoi informed.

"3 days..." Takemichi repeated in his mind. "Oh yeah... I was... beaten up by Mikey-kun... so why... am I alive?"

"... Senju saved you." Kokonoi continued on, as if reading his thoughts.

"That's enough, Mikey!" Senju exclaimed as she extended her hands out in front of a beaten up Takemichi.

"Of course, Senju was in no shape to fight. So Senju bowed down to Mikey and begged to end the conflict by disbanding Brahman itself." Ichirou informed.

The Battle of 3 Deities.

The infamous 3 sided battle that took 2 lives.
Kanto Manji Gang took over Rokuhara Tandai. As the battle concluded with Brahman's dissolvement.
Kanto Manji Gang reigns as the top in the nation.

"Welp, I better be going now! Be sure to grasp the aftermath of that huge battle, alright?" Kokonoi gets up to leave. "See ya."

Kokonoi leaves the room. Ichirou took one last look at Takemichi before following Kokonoi out of the room.

"The fireworks are really pretty."

"Yeah." Inui agreed as the two were watching the fireworks from the park bench. "Hey, did you hear back from the police academy yet?"

"Not yet." Ichirou replied as he sighed, leaning his head on Inui's shoulder.

Inui intertwined his fingers with Ichirou's. "You'll hear back from them. You're smart enough to pass the entrance exam. And if they don't accept you, that's their loss."

"You really know how to flatter me, Seishu." Ichirou chuckled. "I also haven't heard a word from Waka-nii since Brahman disbanded. Hope he's okay."

"I'm sure he's fine, stop being paranoid all the time."

"Seishu! It finally came!"

Ichirou stopped when he saw Takemichi, Chifuyu, and Hakkai talking with Inui as he blinked.

"What finally came?" Inui asked.

Ichirou cleared his throat, moving the letter behind his back. "Don't worry about it. What's going on?" He questioned.

"Hanagaki is making a new team to fight the Kanto Manji Gang. He was just asking me to join." Inui responded.

"We could really use your help as well, Imaushi-kun. You have insane fighting skills." Takemichi told him as Ichirou looked down.

Inui was working on a bike when he heard banging on the glass door. He turned to see Kokonoi carrying Takemichi with a drenched Ichirou next to him.

"Koko!? Rou!?"

"Wha-What the hell happened, Koko!?" Inui asked, opening the door.

"Take him... to the hospital..." Kokonoi managed to get out.

"... Hanagaki!?" Inui exclaimed.

"W-Wait here! I'll get a car!"

"Make it fast!"

"What the hell happened?" Inui questioned again, looking at Kokonoi and Ichirou, who stayed silent.

"He got beaten up by Mikey."

"By Mikey!?"

"It's not just him... but also Senju and South. The era of the 3 Deities has ended. From now on, it's Sano Manjiro's era." Kokonoi claimed.

"I'll leave Takemichi to you and Ichirou. I need to go back and clean up the aftermath."

"Koko! Are you happy with this!?" Inui questioned. "You can live a life without thinking about Akane, you know."

"Dumbass. Of course I'm happy. Following Mikey is like betting on the winning horse." Kokonoi answered.

"Inupi, you chose a good person." Kokonoi smiled at him with his eyes closed.

Ichirou released a breath. "Okay. If Seishu is joining, so am I." He accepted.

He dropped his acceptance letter from the police academy in the trash, extending his hand out towards Takemichi.

"Glad to be on board, Hanagaki."

"Yeah!" Takemichi agreed, clasping his hand with Ichirou's.

ZAP!

"Rou!" Inui shouted out as he watched Ichirou get stabbed.

Wakasa caught his younger brother on time before he collapsed to the ground. "Aniki..." Ichirou mumbled.

"You're okay, Ichirou. I'm here." Wakasa reassured.

"I wanted to be like you." Ichirou sobbed. "I'm sorry I couldn't live up to your expectations."

"Don't say that. I was only hard on you because I didn't want you to be like me. I wanted you to be better." Wakasa claimed.

A tear slipped down Ichirou's cheek. "Thank you for being my hero... Waka-nii." He said.

Wakasa felt Ichirou's body go limp in his arms. "Rou..." Inui muttered as he began sobbing in his sleeve. Kokonoi walks up to his friend with a sorrowful look, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

"Alright then! Now that's settled with," Chifuyu's voice brought Takemichi back to reality as Chifuyu held up two shirts towards Inui and Ichirou. "From today on, Inupi-kun and Imaushi-kun are members of Thousand Winters. Please wear this!"

Inui then spat on Chifuyu's shirt before walking away. "There's no way I'll wear something as lame as that." He claimed.

Chifuyu screeched. "Why would you do this, Inupi-kun!?" He exclaimed.

"Yeah, you're not paying me to wear that ugly thing." Ichirou added on, following Inui.

"Imaushi-kun!"
