"Lee. . . . What's wrong?" I asked Lee.

"What do you mean? I'm fine!" Lee chuckled.

"No, you're not. You've been acting weird all day, and it's like you want to tell me something, but you can't." I frowned.

Lee stared at me. "Do you believe in magical creatures?" He asked.

"What? N-no, not really."

"Well, that is going to change. Because —" Suddenly, the wall collapsed. Lee fell through. Since we were on the second floor, Lee hit the ground hard, falling right into the rose bush.

I gasped and turned to run downstairs. No time! My mind told me.

Then I jumped through the hole in the wall, landing easily on the ground. I was not hurt by jumping from a high place, but my heart was hammering and I was panicking too much to notice.

"Lee!" I called as I ran quickly to the rose bush. Thinking the worst, I looked into it.

But Lee was not there.

Lee had disappeared. I sat there, completely stunned.

"Lee? Where did Lee go?"

Then suddenly my head hurt. "Ah!" I yelled, falling on my side. Memories I did not understand rushed through my head.

I sighed as I continued packing. I don't remember any of those memories that went through my head that night. All I that knew, I did not understand them and the pain in my head had made me pass out.

I finished packing everything. I set my things on the dining table and ran into my room. I sat and pondered what had happened. Had Lee ran away? Had I just not saw him? Had I ran to the wrong rose bush?

"Sally!" My mother called. I rushed down outside and jumped in the car.

I'm moving. I won't remember this house or my problems if I just focus on the better things. I'm good at forgetting. I thought.

Oh, how wrong I was!
