Summer love a form of fleeting flame
Summer sunsets on the rooftop high
Carefree spirit and gentle heart entwine
We danced under stars, our hearts aflame,
But like the season, our love was just a game.

I remember the laughter, the whispers low,
The way you touched me, and my heart glowed.
We chased the sun , in the glowing beach sand
We lost ourselves in the moment, in the warm summer breeze,
Counting stars, midnight strolls, and stolen kisses on our knees.
But our love was just a dream, a summer fling turned into destiny

I tried to hold on, but it slipped away,
Like sand between my fingers, day by day.
The winds of reality bring them to rearrange
Their paths diverge, but memories remain
A bittersweet reminder of their love in vain

A summer love that was just for a while.
