Okay guys, listen.....

I have not been active in the Kaitou Joker fandom for a while now and I tried getting back in, but couldn't!

So, I'm afraid there won't be much more KJ fanfics from me.

I'm REALLY sorry!

I usually don't like discontinuing books, but I just can't find much interest in the fandom anymore. Believe me, I tried!

HOWEVER, Aura and her crew are still very dear to me!
Aura was one of the first OCs I ever made and I still absolutely love the gang's shenanigans!

Which is why, I have been thinking about something.........

You see, I am also writing original stories, and my dream is to make those storues into mangas some day!
And I also have one OG story about Phantom Thieves!
And going by the plot and story elements, Aura and her friends would feel right at home in that story!

But the question is, HOW should I put them into the story!
I actually already had a protagonist for the Phantom Thief story long before this decision!

There are a few options :

- Option number 1 : I could make Aura the new protagonist instead, but the old one would still be an important key character, because he's very connected to the plot.
It might be difficult to replace a character I had already grown familiar with as a protagonist, and not to mention how it would end up changing a good chunk of the overall story and some character's backstories, but it would still be managable!

- Option number 2 : Aura could be a key character in a later story arc, kinda like in Kaitou Joker, with Akai being an important Recurring character from season 3 and onwards. I Personally don't really like this one much, because there's a limit to how many new characters you can successfully introduce in one story arc, which it means scrapping a lot of the other characters! And I REALLY don't want that!
Usually, when I just can't fit a character into a story cleanly, I tent to just put them in a different one of my stories! I may end up changing a few things to adjust them to the new plot, but overall the character stays the same!
I'm not the type of person to delete characters! Especially when I've already gotten attached to them, which with most of my OCs is already uppon their creation!

- Option number 3 : I split the story into two arcs, one for The original protag's story and one for Aura's story! However, as much as I like this Idea, that might end up causing some big trouble in the future, for reasons I cannot reveal!

Although all three options have their problems, I personally like the first one the most! I do want Aura and her friends to have their own story, but I already got so many original stories planned and I already have to hope that I can live long enough to get all if them done! Making ANOTHER one would really be too much, especially considering the length of some of them!

And I REALLY want Aura, Chibi and their friends to become part of this wider universe that I'm creating with my Original stories!

But maybe you guys also have Ideas? Who knows! I am open for suggestions!

And although I'm no longer actively making KJ fanfics, I will still update my Random Scenario book and I'll still be up for KJ RPs, because It's still the franchise where these OCs have their roots in!

ALSO! Shadow x Aura? I still ship it!
Although I am no longer actually in the fandom, I still like Shadow as a character!
I mean, now that I think about it..... crossover ships are a thing......! 🤔
