Carmen entered the room, right in front of the line up, with Archie and Sheriff Keller turned to face them.

"So, this is who we've picked up so far. All of them have a history of armed robbery  or some other violent crime. So, you two feeling up for this?" Sheriff Keller  asks.

"Yeah." Archie agrees. "I guess." She answers, rubbing her hands.

"Alright." Sheriff Keller nods before turning to the mic. "Put them on." The men all  put on ski masks. "One, step forward." They stare at him and she hears the gunshots ringing and her gang bursting through the door as she had watched Mr. Andrews crumble to the floor.

"No." They answer. "Step back. Two, step forward." Sheriff Keller commands and he does. His eyes are wrong. He's not tall enough.

"No." They repeat. "Step back. Three, step forward." Sheriff Keller commands. She can feel the man slamming the gun against her face, when she tried to defend Pop's, but luckily, her gang got there just in time to get him to safety. The bruising under her eye stung even more.

She could count each bit of Mr. Andrews' blood when it splattered against my face and tank top. But I was tough.

"No." They whisper. Sheriff Keller pressing the mic again, the buzzing ringing in her ear. Yet still, she hears the gunshot. Again. And again. And again.

"Thanks Reggie." Archie says as he, Carmen and Reggie pull out of a hug with him.

"The Bulldogs are here for you. Both of you." Reggie assures us.

"And so are the Pussycats." Josie states and she turns to see her, Valerie and Melody. Valerie grips her hand tightly and Melody rubs her shoulder while Josie looks at Archie.

"We're sending your dad our prayers and giving him as many of our nine lives as he needs."

"Gracias, Josie," Carmen responds, smiling at her.

*Carmen's family bursts through the hospital doors and were shocked when they saw her clothes covered in blood.*

"Carmencita! Qué pasó!" Carmen's mom, Jimena, wrapped her arms around her daughter as her dad and brother patted her back and thanked Archie for saving her life.

"Veronica said that you two were down at the Sheriff's station? That maybe they got the guy?" Josie asks, furrowing her brows in slight hope.

"Yeah, but it wasn't him. He's still out there." Archie admits and they all sigh.

"Archie. He's in room twelve, you can see him now." Dr. Masters admits and Archie turns to face him.

"Okay, great." He decides.

"Listen, he hasn't woken up yet. But talk to him, coax him back. Keep it positive. Honestly, that could make all the difference." Dr. Masters admits and Archie nods before heading out, Carmen going with him, but her brother stops her. "Déjalo, hermanita." He says.
