NATSU's POV

MY EYES got widen as I stared on her face. She was smiling on me widely while her eyes were shining of pure amazement. I can't believe she just asked me to sing that stupid song - I don't even know how to freaking sing.

I took a deep breath before I put my hands on her shoulder "First of all, Lucy. I don't know how to sing" a frowned embedded into her face as she look directly into my eyes "Second, I'm not gay. I am a man inside and out" I said emphasizing each words to her.

She pouted her lips before crossing her arms below her breast "Natsu as far as I remembered, you are wearing a costume. And to tell you the truth, you don't look like a man" I narrowed my eyes to her, "Again, you look like a pupper fish" I can't believe she just insult me after forcing me to wear this shit -_-

I closed my eyes "I don't know how to sing, Lucy" I say.

She shrugged her shoulder before rolling her eyes on me "It's not my problem anymore," of course, it's also your problem

"Besides, I already give you your benefits you should followed my order without making a fuss" she said with a monotone voice - like she was already bored.

I clench my fist and tried my best to control myself, "Lucy" I started but she just covered her ears with her hand like she don't want to listen on whatever I'm going to say.

"Fine, I'll do it" I say.

Her eyes shine with pure amazement as she looked at me "Good," she say smiling widely "Please make me laugh on your performance, Natsu"

I rolled my eyes "You such a witch"

She laugh before fending off her hair that falling on her face "A beautiful witch that will give you, the benefits" she say winking on me.

"Just shut up for a second, Lucy" I say closing my eyes "I'm trying to remember the lyrics"

She pressed her lips together but I can see on her eyes that she was trying to stop her own laugh. I let out a deep sigh before I shoot her my bitter glare which she just ignore "Don't you dare take a video of this"

"Okay" I don't know why but I'm a little nervous about her answer but then I ignored it. I clear my throat before I stood up and ready myself for the most humiliating performance I will do in my entire life.

I'm panting when I finished singing the song that she was requested me to sing.  It was ridiculous for me to accept this kind of humiliation but seeing her laughing so hard makes me happy.

"Oh God! Natsu… that was… Oh my God!" She said between her laugh.

ERZA's POV

IT WAS my day - off in my part time job so I decided to scroll in the nearest park in my apartment. Usually, I will go in our school to do some paperwork in Student Council but according to Gray I should take a break.

I let out a frustrated sighed before I lean on the bench. Kids are everywhere, some couples are having picnic, and some are just like me sitting alone.

"Erza" I heard someone called me on my left, and when I turned my head I saw Levy standing there.

She smile in me but her eyes is like about to cry. She clear her throat "May sit beside you?"

"Sure" I say quiety, "I wasn't expecting you to see in this kind of place alone"

She swallowed "I just want some time alone," she whispers "I did something terrible to Lucy," she swallowed once again before she blinked her eyes rapidly like she was trying to hold back the tears that wants to escaped on her eyes "I hurt her, Erza"

"I don't understand, Levy" I say truthfully "What did you do to her?"

She sobs before a tear escaped from her eyes "I-I told her, I met a new friend better than her. I know I hurt her feelings by saying those things but I just can't say to her that I'll leave her"

"But Levy," I started "Your lies hurt her even more"

Her eyes grew wider as she looked at me. I smile as I gently wiped her tears away "She will understand the reason why you need to leave. She is your best friend after all"

"But…"

"You have to talk," I say "She deserves an explanation, she doesn't deserve your lies"

NATSU's POV

SHE lay quietly on my arms as my fingers gently played to the ends of her hair. She doesn't speak, but I feel like she wants to say something, "Lucy?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you alright?" I murmured.

"I don't know" she say quietly as she buried her face in my chest, "But I miss my best friend"

I sighed as I pulled her into a tight hug - I didn't say anything and just let her cry, she keeps on sobbing and hearing her cry like this make my heart clenched in pain. I gently brushed her hair and kiss her temple, "Maybe you should talk, Lucy"

"She told me that she found a new friend better than me" she say between her sobs "I know, and I'm fully aware that I'm not a perfect best friend but hearing her say those things to me really broke my heart"

I cupped her face and made her look at me "Lucy," I pause "You deserve better."

"What does it mean" she asked frowning. I gently caressed her soft cheeks and slightly blush from crying. She looks so cute right now but I don't want to see her like this.

"What I mean is, you deserve everything in this world. You deserve a kind of friend that will always have your back. You deserve to smile and laugh, and most especially you deserve an reasonably explanation"

She didn't say anything and just stared in my face like she was trying to understand everything that I say "So go on, and ask her a question because you deserve it"

"But Natsu"

I gave her a quick kissed in the lips "I told you, you deserve it. So just do what I say, okay"

She didn't say anything to me but just nodded to me.

LUCY's POV

ON THE following day, I tried to avoid getting an eye contact with Levy. It's just that I'm too scared. I let out a frustrated sighed "You know, what you are doing right now will make everything worst" Natsu say.

Right now, we are here in the rooftop and as usual, Natsu's mother prepared our lunch "You shouldn't avoid her"

"I'm not avoiding her" I hissed.

"Really?" He say sarcastically which makes me rolled my eyes, "I told you, you have to talk"

"Whatever"

Natsu and I looked at the door when it swing opened. Her gaze immediately met mine, and there was pain in my heart as I remembered what she said yesterday. She clear her throat "Lucy?" I stared on her face but didn't say anything "Can I talk to you for a while?"

"Sure" I say "But Natsu will stay"

Natsu give me a what-the-fuck-look so I just reached for his hand gently squeeze it hoping that he knows that I need someone by my side at this moment. Natsu let out a sigh before getting his earphones and plugged it on his ear.

"So? What's is this all about?" I say almost like a whisper.

"I just want to say sorry for what I've done yesterday" I open my mouth to say something but she just raised her finger to stop me "Please hear me out"

I nodded.

She inhale sharply "I lied to yesterday, about me having new found friend, about me having a new best friend. I lied because I don't want you to know that my family and I will leave this country by next week"

My eyes grew wider "I know it's a foolish act but I don't want you to be hurt."

"But your lie makes me hurt too, Levy-chan" I sobs

"I'm sorry" her eyes clouded with her own tears "I just… I just… I'm sorry…I'm sorry for lying to you," she sobs.

I stood up before I approached her "You will always be my best friend, Levy - chan"

"I'm sorry" she cried before pulling me into a hug "I'm sorry"

My eyes clouded with my own tears as I hug her back "I forgive you, always" I murmured.

THE days passed quickly and the moments with my best friend - I will keep it inside my heart m until the two of us met again.
