The prehistoric god hand has been around since middle to end of the ice age, they were the first iteration and was considered by the holy see as archangels. Each of the original four has elemental powers and are the twisted versions of the four elemental kings, however, the fifth member of the prehistoric god hand has the power over shadows.

The members of the prehistoric god hand includes:

Arcturus- the very first member and the leader.

Rigel- the brute and the second member.

Vega- the only female member and the third member.

Polarus- the fourth member and one of the wisest of the group.

Cor caroli- the final member and has the power of shadows.

Each member of the prehistoric God hand has their own animal theme, such as Rigel appearing as a glyptodon and Polaris looking like a nightmarish humanoid saber toothed cat, so on and so forth. It makes sense that they were early humans during the ice age (including Arcturus who used to be a Neanderthal), they all are named after stars to fit in the current members that are named after sci fi books. Their main role is to be the vanguard/bodyguards to the idea of evil as well as to be mentors to the future members, but unlike the future members, they prefer to stay in the abyss (although, sometimes they can leave to manifest physical forms).

I'm thinking that in the fantasia arc in which where both the physical and astral realms merge together, the prehistoric god hand members obtained permanent physical forms (they can also turn into their original forms prior to becoming god hand members) and manifest their own domains.

Here's what their domains would be:

For Arcturus- a black sky with red clouds.

For Vega- a parade of ancient sea creatures in the icy landscape.

For Rigel- a vast woodland full of prehistoric monsters.

For Polarus- a lava filled realm.

For Cor caroli- a realm full of shadows ranging from woodland to even humanoids.
