PLAY SONG

Third Person POV

It was a gloomy day, the sky filled with clouds as rain pour down onto the ground below. Nothing could be heard except the sound of raining pouring down and the sound of a waterfall nearby.

Near the waterfall was a grave. A grave with someone standing in front of it. Wearing a black armor as he knelt in front of the grave, as if he was saying his goodbyes.

This was no other than Y/N L/N. The faunas that joined the white fang, only to be betrayed by those he fought with. Then to join Laughing Coffin to fight those that betrayed him. Only to lose the one he cared so much about.

Amelia.

Y/N's POV

I felt the cold air hitting against my skin as I stood there. Feeling the cold rain drip down my skin and armor as I stood there. Watching the rain soak into the ground where she now laid. As I looked at it, I could still hear her voice. See her smile. All the times we've spent together. I felt tear well down as I looked at her name.

Here lies Amelia.

A lovely daughter, sister, lover

I could barely hold myself together as I only saw her smile, staring back at me. Her smiles every time we were together. As I thought about them all, I fell onto my knees as I looked at the grave.

"I'm s-s-so sorry A-A-Amelia!"
I yelled as tears fell down my cheeks.

"I'm s-so sorry for failing you!"
I cursed to myself.

"I failed to protect you!"

"I failed to give you the life you always wanted!"
I cursed into the air, remembering what she said.

Flashback

I was sitting on the roof as I overlooked the rookies training in the yard. As I sat there, I saw Amelia sitting near me as we watched the rookies train.

Amelia: Must be nice and quiet up here.
She said as she sat by me.

"Aren't you suppose to be with Death-Gun right now?"

Amelia: He let me off early for the day.

"Hmm. So how is your training so far?"
I asked her.

Amelia: I'm doing a lot better. Because of you.
She said as she flashed me a smile.

"Good to hear that."
I said as I smiled back at her.

Amelia: So what happens after we end the white fang?
She asked me.

"I don't know. Maybe get a house and live peacefully. How about you?"
I asked her.

Amelia: Hmm. I haven't really thought about it. Oh. I got one.
She said.

"What is it?"
I asked her.

Amelia: I want to stick by your side.
She said to me.

"I see. That's if you can beat me at sniping."
I said as I wrapped my arm around her neck.

Amelia: You're on!

Flashback Ends

I knelt on the ground as tears ran down my cheeks, thinking about her.

"I'm so sorry Amelia."
I said as I looked at her grave.

I grabbed my dagger and placed it on top of her grave.

"This is goodbye Amelia."
I said as I stood up.

"Be happy with your family."
I said as a tears rolled down my cheek, struggling to come to terms knowing that she is dead.

All because of me.

I couldn't protect her.

I could have done anything to protect her. I promised her that we'll be by each other's side after all of this.

"What kind of person am I? To fail at protecting their friend. Their only family left. Their student."

Third Person POV

As Y/N walked away with Amelia's sniper strapped to his back, a phantom of  Amelia was hugging him from behind as he walked back.

Mouthing four words as her phantom hugged him.

Amelia: I'll always love you.

Y/N continued to walk away and he entered the hideout where he and Amelia were staying at. As he entered the hideout, many of the members went quiet as they all looked at him. Y/N didn't notice as he continued to walk down the hall, heading to his room. Not knowing that Death-Gun was following him.

Y/N walked into the room and laid Amelia's sniper on the table before laying on the bed, wanting to be alone.

KNOCK KNOCK

Y/N didn't bother to answer as he laid on his bed .

KNOCK KNOCK

Y/N: Come in.
He said, not wanting to get up.

Death-Gun: Y/N.
He said as he walked in.

Y/N: What.
He said, not facing him.

Death-Gun: Are you okay?
He asked as he sat by him, his hand on his shoulder.

Y/N didn't answer as he looked the other way.

Death-Gun: I know how you're feeling. I miss her too.
He said with a sorrowful tone.

Unknown to Y/N, tears were streaming down Death-Gun's face as tried to comfort Y/N. His "son".

Death-Gun: I know you miss her.
He said to him, trying to comfort Y/N.

Death-Gun: Just know we're all here for you.
He said before walking out of the room.

Leaving Y/N to grieve and mourn for the lost of his friend. His sister in arms. The one that admired him. The one that loved him. For who he was. Someone that stuck by him til the end.

Y/N: I miss you Amelia.
He said as he held onto a photo of them together.

Both of them smiling as they both held their weapons in hand. Y/N with his sniper strapped to his back. Amelia with her sniper in hand as she laid her head on his shoulder.

As he laid on the bed, Amelia's phantom was sitting by him as she was touching his wolf ears. Trying to comfort him as tears welled down her cheeks. Amelia leaned down and kissed Y/N on the cheek, trying her best to comfort her lover even after death.

Y/N slowly got up and started walking towards a door. He tapped a code into the door and the door slowly opened. He walked into the room and turned on the lights, revealing a room full of weapons and two sets of armor in the middle. Y/N walked towards one set of armor and pulled off his old one, dropping it to the floor before putting on the new one.

As he put on the armor, he saw the other. The other armor set with a name on it.

Y/N: Amelia's.
He said as he looked at the armor.

Y/N: This was suppose to hers.
He said to himself.

Y/N grabbed Amelia's sniper and twin handguns before heading out of the room. As he walked down the hall, he came across Death-Gun once more.

Death-Gun: Where are you going?
He asked.

Y/N: Hunting.
