Gabe (the Best Man):

And Shu/ Your Older Brother (Man of Honour):

So in this, you and Lui have been together since you were eleven, and he and Shu were fifteen. You're twenty four years old here, so that means you've been in a relationship for about thirteen years or so.

"Please get me out of here," you begged softly out of the corner of your mouth, all while keeping a bright grin plastered to your features. "My face is starting to hurt from all this smiling."

"You're the one who wanted a big reception," your brand new husband as of eighty minutes ago pointed out. "Now you have to grin and bear it."

"That's easy for you to say," you hissed, giving him a miniscule glare. "All anyone is expecting from you is to scowl a little less than usual. And if that was a pun, you can do better."

"I said to skip this part entirely," he reminded you dryly. "You could have agreed with me."

"And I'm an idiot to have ignored you," you pleaded with him. "These heels are killing me, my hair feels stiff from all this spray, and I want to take all this make the damn hell off."

"It's just for a few more hours," he soothed. "No one will know if you take off your shoes, your dress is too long for them to notice."

"Yeah, okay but-"

His hand reached down and gave your own a small squeeze. "I'm right here with you, for better, for worse."

"Aww, who knew that Lui Shirosagi could be so sentimental?" You teased, giving you flame headed husband your first genuine smile since the end of your wedding ceremony over an hour earlier.

He leant over to you and placed a soft kiss on your forehead, much to the delight of your other guests.

"Only for you," he whispered, just loud enough for you alone to hear.

"And everyone will find out if you don't make an excuse to get us out of here," you smirked wickedly, but much to your chagrin, Lui only shook his head at your ultimatum.

"You wouldn't."

"Shut up," you pouted, knowing that he was right. Thankfully, you were saved from your husband's more than likely sarcastic response, by the appearance of your big brother.

"Everyone's seated." Shu informed the two of you, taking his own seat at your right hand side, him being your designated and if not slightly unconventional man of honour.

Lui nodded his acknowledgement, and you smiled happily. Your husband and brother's former hatred and rivalry was a story not unknown by the world of Beyblade. All of that had changed however, when you and Lui had first started dating.

Some called you two the modern day Romeo and Juliet. You called those people love sick fools, who wouldn't kindly butt out of your love life. Lui called them idiots. And while the two would never be close friends, they shared a mutual love for you, and had been able to find it in themselves to act civilly for your sake, something  which you were eternally grateful for.

Gabe, being a close friend of your's and Lui's, not to mention Lui's best friend, stood up and waited for silence. Normally, you would tap a fork against a glass or have a dainty sort of bell rung during these instances, but Gabe's height and intimidating demeanor alone were enough to cause a hush to fall over the crowd that filled the room.

"Thank you," he inclined his head politely. "I won't waste time with introductions, we all know why we're all here tonight, and that's to celebrate the new Mr and Mrs Lui Shirosagi."

There was a brief smattering of applause, and Gabe took a small sip from the champagne glass he was nursing.

"For thirteen years, these two have been dating, and not once have they broken up. I've seen their relationship go from one strength to another, and never before have I seen a couple so in love, and here we are tonight, celebrating their marriage." Gabe turned to his right so that he was facing yourself and Lui, and lifted his glass in a toast. "To Lui and Y/N."

The rest of the room followed suit and echoed the sentiment loudly. Once the noise had died down, and Gabe sat down, it was your brother's turn to rise.

"It's no secret that Lui and I don't exactly have the best history," Shu began after a slight pause, and you held your breath as you wondered where he was going with this. "But this isn't about us, it's about Lui and Y/N. Even so, at the age of fifteen, I'd never have thought I would be attending Lui Shirosagi's wedding, and as the Man of Honour none the less."

You giggled as Lui nodded along with what Shu was saying, and your twin cast you a fond look.

"I also never thought that I'd have been walking down that aisle alongside my baby sister and giving her away to you." Shu took his own glass and raised it to the pair of you, although you got the faint sense than this time, it was more to Lui than yourself. "We might not always see eye to eye, but you've become a good man, and one who I am trusting to take care of my sister, even though you've been doing that for more than a decade now. To Lui and Y/N!"

"Lui and Y/N," your guests echoed for a final time, and as your brother sat back down, you gave him a tight hug.

"Thank you," you murmured into his chest, trying your hardest to blink back tears.

"I meant every word," Shu whispered back, and you swore that you felt something warm drop onto your head. "I might not always like the guy, but he loves you Y/N, and that's enough from me."

"I love you big bro," you sniffled.

"I love you too."

You pulled out of your sibling's embrace, and quickly wiped beneath your eyes, being careful not to smudge any of the make up that had taken you over an hour to get right. Then, much to everyone's surprise, it was your turn to stand up.

"Could I have your attention, please?" You asked loudly, feeling more than a little nervous with everyone's eyes trained solely on you. "Um, hi."

You gave them a small, awkward wave, and took several deep breaths to calm your nerves. Behind your back, Lui's fingers threaded through your own, and you drew strength from the subtle comfort he provided.

"Thank you all for coming, and for those speeches, they were both lovely." You began, growing in confidence as you found your voice and started talking. "But there's something I wanted to say as well."

"I thought about saying this during our vows earlier, but I didn't want to take anything away from our ceremony." You admitted, butterflies still rolling in your stomach with what you were about to say. "You all would have found out anyway, so I thought, 'hey, why not do it now?'"

Taking a final deep breath, you steeled your nevrves and clung to every sliver of your courage. With everyone watching you intently, you turned to face your still sitting husband, and took both of his hands in his own.

Nervously, you met his questioning violet gaze. He had no idea what this was, or what it was you were trying to say.

"Thank you," you smiled. "For not letting me run away from this reception, otherwise I probably wouldn't have told you or anyone else this for a while."

"Lui?" You breathed, praying that he would take this as well as you hoped that he would. "I'm pregnant."

There was a long, stunned pause, while no one was really was sure to say. The one thing that everyone could agree to however, was the loud cheering that accompanied your husband getting to his feet and dipping you down into a long and deep sweet kiss.
