"Valt Aoi! You better come out right now or you'll regret it!"

There was no reply and you groaned.

"I swear, if he disappears one more time, I'll never bring him here again!" You said, bringing out your phone.

Calling Toko...
Call accepted.

"Toko! Is Valt there?"

"No! I'll go search in the 4rtg floor! Call you if I fin-"

Your call was interrupted by Nika calling you.

"Y/N! This is the 2nd floor! I found Valt!"

"Where is he?"

"He's watching the puppet show! Come quickly! It's almost over!"

"I'm coming! Don't let him out of your sight!"

"I won't!"

Rushing into the elevator you jumped up and down inside.

"Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!"

"Ding! This is the 2nd floor. Door opening."

Hurrying out, you looked for a blue haired boy or a pink haired girl with pigtails.

You spotted Valt first. Mostly because he was jumping up and down cheering the knight at the top of his lungs.

Quickly running behind a pillar, you met with Nika.

"He nearly spotted you!"

"It's fine. As long as he doesn't run. We grab him when the show is over okay?"

"OK!"

After a while, the show ended.

"The End!" The characters said, and you and Nika jumped out from behind the pillar. However, Valt was faster. He ran away but was caught by a puppet covered hand.

"Hey!" Valt protested.

"Ha! Gotcha!" Ker said.

"Don't run away!" Beus said.

"Thanks, Ken!" You said grabbing Valt's hand. "You were a big help."

"No problem!"

"Hey!" Valt whined. "You're holding my hand too tightly!"

"You shouldn't have run off." You said.

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry!"

"Good." You growled, struggling to stay angry.

"Y/N!! I'm sorry!!" Valt said, looking at you with desperate eyes.

"Ok. Fine." You loosened your grip.

Immediately Valt tugged his hand away and ran off.

"Oi! Hey!"

"You should know better," Beus lightly scolded while chomping on your cheek.

"I agree!" Ker said, chomping on your other cheek.

"Fine. It was my mistake. I've got to go now! Bye, Ken! See you!"

~Timeskip~
"This time, I'm not letting go." You said, holding Valts wrist in a death-grip.

"Ow!"

"Thanks again, Ken. I didn't know Valt would come back here."

"Take care! Bye bye!"

"Bye!"

~Timeskip~
"What exactly were you doing with Ken?"

"Telling him that your birthday was in 2 days."

"Why?!"

"C'mon Y/N! You're his girlfriend! He should know those kinds of things!

"Ugh. Fine. But you know the reason I didn't tell him was that I'm sure that he'll get something that's expensive."

"I guess so... But you should be happy!"

"I know... I just don't want him spending so much money on me."

"That's just like you Y/N."

~Two days later (10:00 pm)~
"Happy birthday to you~" Your family sang, clapping.

You smiled as you blew out the candles. Sure. You may have been too old for this, but that didn't stop you.

As you enjoyed your birthday and ate some cake, you couldn't help but wonder what Ken was doing.

Maybe he forgot? Maybe he didn't care? Maybe-

Your thoughts were cut off by Nika and Toko yawning simultaneously.

"Go to sleep guys! Its been a long day."

"Awww... But-"

"Your sister's right kids. Valt is already sleeping!"

"Alright." They reluctantly said.

When they were tucked in bed, you helped your mom clean up and yawned yourself.

"You too Y/N. Go get some sleep."

"Yes. Okay. Night mom. It was a great birthday."

"Goodnight~"

Walking to your room, you sighed, down. Ken hadn't come after all.

As if to match your mood, it started raining outside.

You did your nightly routine and lay in bed.

"Clank!" "Click!"

Groaning you sat up. "Why was the rain so loud!"

"Thunk!" "Y/N! The window!"

Your eyes widened and you immediately jumped out of bed and opened the window.

"Ken! What are you doing here?!"

"Explanations later. And Y/N! Happy Birthday!" Ken handed you a bouquet of roses. Raindrops on their petals, they shined.

"Thank you! They're beautiful!"

You smiled and put them in a vase that Ken gave you.

Then you set it on the table and pushed Ken into the bathroom.

"Go shower! You're soaked!"

As Ken showered, you smelled the roses and soon their aroma filled the room.

"Y/N!"

"Yes?"

"What do I wear?"

Ken came out wearing a towel around his waist blushing madly.

You covered your eyes.

"Go back inside! I'll get you some clothes!"

Finding another set of PJs, you slipped them yo Ken.

After a while, Ken came out wearing your PJs which admittingly looked good on him.

"So. Why are you here? In the middle of the night too!"

"I wanted to celebrate your birthday when there isn't anyone around. Just you and me. I was walking here when it suddenly started raining."

"Aww~ That's sweet~"

Ken blushed. "I can't go home now..." he said looking outside.

"It seems like it..." You sighed.

"So I need to stay here and sleep with you..." Ken stated and started blushing again.

"Yep~ You can sleep on the floor~"

"Aww... But its cold!"

"I have extra blankets," you said.

~Timeskip~
You awoke feeling hot.

"What time is it?" You groaned, Looking at your clock. It read '2:36 A.M'

You started to kick off the blankers when something shivered beside you.

Stifling a shriek, you saw Ken.

"The hell are you doing here?"

Ken shivered again.

Quickly gathering the blankets, you covered Ken.

"I-I was c-cold... M-my h-hair wasn't d-dry."

"Sorry! I didn't know it would be that bad," you said, starting to feel cold yourself.

Grabbing the end of the blanket, you covered yourself too.

Suddenly, Ken wrapped his hands around your waist and pulled you toward his chest.

"I feel so much warmer now!" He said, feeling your warmth.

You wrapped your arms around his waist and pulled him closer, resting your head against his neck.

"Me too."

Both snuggled against each other, enjoying the warmth.

"Good night Y/N."

"Night."

"... Y/N?"

"What?"

"Goodnight kiss?"

"You're impossible."

Then you pressed your lips against his.
