I will write something like this until a request

"Hey! Where's Shu? I didn't see him today!" You looked around slightly worried. Shu wasn't the type to miss school.

"Don't worry," Honcho said, looking over. "He caught a cold and he's staying home for today."

Right after he said that his eyes widened and covered his mouth with his fan.

"Idiot! Shu told us not to tell her!" Wakiya hissed glancing at you.

"Why?"

Wakiya sighed and thought, "No reason to hide it now," before saying, "He knew you would come over if he was sick and he didn't want to be taken care of."

"He also didn't want the germs to spread." Valt chirped.

Gritting your teeth you managed to say, "that boy never learns," before running full speed toward his house.

Behind you, all the boys shivered.

When you got in front of his door, your anger toward Shu for not telling you that he was sick had gone down.

You quietly turned the doorknob and was surprised to see that it opened. What the hell was Shu thinking?! It was an evil world, and Shu was sick in no position to defend himself!

Closing your eyes briefly you calmed down, stepped in, closed the door, and locked it. Tiptoeing to Shu's room, you knocked.

A hoarse and very sick voice called out, "Who is it?"

"It's me, Y/N."

You heard Shu muttering about Honcho and his big mouth before calling softly, "Come in."

You stepped inside and gasped. Shu lay there with beads of sweat beading down his neck.

Rushing to his side, you placed a hand on his forehead and felt it burn.

Sighing you grabbed a thermometer and said, "Shu, say Ahhhh."

Shu groaned and reached out a hand saying, "Y/N, I can do it myself. Anyway, I'm fine. It's nothing"

"Yeah right."

"Just give it to me."

You held out the thermometer and Shu reached out with trembling fingers and grasped the thermometer, only to have it slip out of his grasp and fall on your hand.

You rolled your eyes. "You can do it yourself huh? Open your mouth, Shu."

Grudgingly Shu did so and you placed the thermometer under his tongue.
~Very short time skip~
"39°?! That's way worse than I thought! How are you still awake?"

"Y/N, calm down. I'm fine. I have medicine." Shu said, pointing to the pills.

"You're not Kurenai Shu. You are going to rest and I'm going to get you something to eat. Also, don't you dare try to touch those pills. They're bad for you. It rushes up the healing process and your body grows immune to it over time."

"But I need my medicine! Besides, I'm not hung-"

Shu's stomach growled.

"You were saying?"

"Fine..." Shu shivered under the covers.

Looking at Shu worryingly, you went outside to cook him some broth.

You gazed sadly at your cooking. You and Shu had been childhood friends and as you grew, you had developed feelings for him. You knew he didn't think of you that way and you were heartbroken. However, you were planning to confess to him after he got over his cold. It would be better to get the weight off your shoulders. Little did you know, Shu was thinking the same thing except about you.

After finishing the broth, you made some LHW. (Lemon honey water)

Putting both on a tray, you went into Shu's room and saw him reaching for the medicine.

"Shu!"

Shu whipped his hand back and looked at you innocently.

"What?"

"You know what Kurenai."

"But Y/N! The medicine will make me stronger faster! I need to train!"

"You're sounding like Valt now."

You chuckle at Shu's attitude and walk over to him telling him to sit up. It resulted in him lying back down on the bed exhausted.

Sighing you set the tray down on his desk and wrapped an arm around Shu's shoulders. Hefting him up, you helped him up into a sitting position.

Arm still wrapped around Shu, you grabbed the tray and set it on his lap, picked up the lhw and brought it up to his lips.

Shu took small sips, enjoying the warm feeling of the water tingling through his body.

After Shu nodded, you set down the lhw. You grabbed the spoon but, Shu protested.

"Y/N, I can do it myself."

"Are you sure?" You asked skeptically but handed him the spoon.

Hands shaking, Shu dipped the spoon in the broth. He lifted it up, but before it could reach his lips,  Shu dropped the spoon causing the broth to splatter all over the tray.

"Y/N, I'm sorr-"

"Its fine Shu, but I'm feeding you."

Shu shyly nodded.

Still supporting Shu, you fed him, enjoying how his eyes widened with each bite.

"This is good!"

"Of course it is. I made it."

"Thanks for-" the rest was cut off in a yawn.

"You should sleep."

With no protests, Shu fell asleep immediately in your arms.

You gently laid him back down and went to the kitchen. Grabbing a chair, you carried it and set it next to Shu's bed. For the rest of the day and all night, you:
1. Helped Shu wipe his sweat.
2. Fed him some lhw when he was thirsty.
3. Made him more broth when he was hungry.
4. Took his temperature.

Basically just stayed with him and took care of him.
~Morning~
Shu woke up feeling much better. He heard soft chuckling and he turned to see you.

"How are you feeling Shu?"

"Much better thanks to you Y/N"

You grinned then yawned exhausted. Shu got up and was immediately in front of you. He effortlessly picked you up and carried you to the guest room where he laid you down and tucked you in.

"Umm.... Y/N?"

"Yes?"

"Can I tell you something?"

You nodded.

"T-thanks for t-taking care or m-me"

"No problem Shu. You can come to me anytime."

"And... umm... I... Ah... IreallylikeyouY/N!" Shu blurted out. He looked down ready for you to refuse him.

You were quiet for a moment as the words sunk in. Then you squealed.

"I like you too!"

Shu's eyes widened and he looked stunned.

"Really?"

"Yep! I've been for a long time."

"Me too!"

You both giggled and suddenly, Shu leaned down until your lips were a breath away.

Shutting your eyes tightly, you closed the gap. You both kissed with as much joy, passion, and love as you could enjoying every second.

You did have to separate for breath, but you and Shu never broke eye contact. After taking a breath, you and Shu kissed again, happy.
