Prologue :
The Beginning of Something Enigmatic

────────⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅─────────

The sky was a graveyard of stars, shimmering brightly and merrily. Something about the atmosphere was deeply foreboding. It was tranquil but unsettling; silent but filled with hearts hammering. Fireflies fed the dying light, trying as much as possible not to let darkness envelop the world. It was not an archetype night. It was the night when an arcane parchment arrived on the windowsill of a boy's room.

Like a shooting star, it sped through the window and into the room, startling him for a split second. Smoke erupted from the parchment, because of its velocity, nearly burning away its cover. The boy picked it up gingerly, almost dropping it because of its heat, and held it up to his face.

Mr Brave,
We are in dire need of your help. Please be present at the atrium of the Ministry on 7th of April, 1999 dressed in black and, with a hood on.

Five of your close cousins have been selected for the same task. You may bring them along, if you have found them without revealing to anybody but them that you have received this letter. May I warn you that consequences will be hard if the speech of this letter gets to unwanted ears.

We don't mean to cause you any harm. We are not Death Eaters.

Sincerely,
uRen

The letter was oddly curious in itself. For one, it was addressed to a person who went by the name Brave. Secondly, who would need his help? He was no better than your average bartender. Thirdly, the name of the sender was even more bizarre; proper grammar was apparently not taught to this person. Besides, he had only one cousin, not that he knew of any other and that cousin fared even worser than a whale stuck at the shore.

It got him thinking, if it was not the cousin he had in mind, did the mysterious sender mean friends?

Surely he had two great friends. But who were the other three? Was it even wise of him to trust this letter? Perhaps this was just another prank by one of the crazy lunatics who were behind him to finish him off.

A loud shriek interrupted his musings about trusting the letter and its sender. Only when he ran downstairs did he know. Oh, how wrong was he?

A really short prologue, yes. I wanted to set the mysterious atmosphere at the start of the story itself. Well, how was it?

Who do you think is the sender and the receiver? Let me know in the comments. ;)

Hope you guys will support me with this story as well!

Thank you for reading!
