Headcannon that Alfred and Ivan have an elaborate code system for scheduling dates during meetings. Whoever clicks their pen twice will pick the other up. The amount of times they tap their notes indicates the time. Scratching their nose means the place is not formal. Strumming fingers on the table is code for dinner date.

And that doesn't even include all their little actions to have completely silent conversations from across the conference table. The others haven't quite figured out why Ivan brushing hair from his face makes Alfred laugh or what about Alfred tapping his foot on the chair leg causes Ivan to look like Christmas came early."
