*Third's Pov*

Jasper and Ruby made it back to their parents' bedroom. Before they quickly stepped inside, the elder sibling took a quick peek inside to make sure Spider Hopp wasn't inside waiting for them. He even looked up at the walls and corners just in case the demonic rabbit was waiting to ambush them like he tried before.

Spider Hopp...

*Shudders*

After this, Jasper no doubt would be having arachnophobia (fear of spiders) and leporiphobia (fear of rabbits) for a long time...

Ruby: Is the coast clear?

Jasper: Yeah...I don't see him...

He open the door wide and let's Ruby in before closing it.

Both siblings went for the closet door as Ruby used the key to open it up. Inside the closet was a few clothes hanged up along with a safe.

Jasper: This is it, Ruby...

Ruby: Yeah...What was the passcode to the safe again?

Jasper: If I remember correctly, Dad's combination number is 1-8-0-4. It was in the calender...I'm not sure if that's the correct answer but give it a try.

Ruby nodded before putting in the combination number for the first try.

*CLICK*

Both siblings brightened up hearing the sound as the safe opened revealing the toy gun and slingshot.

Jasper: Well how about that! It worked!

Ruby: My slingshot!

Ruby went for the slingshot. Next to it was a couple of pellets. Jasper went for the toy gun that had a few pellets of it's own.

Jasper: Now that we're armed, are you ready to face Mr. Hopp?

Ruby: No I'm not...but we have no choice, do we?

Jasper: I'm afraid so...

Ruby:....Let's Do It.

Ruby was pretty brave for a eight year old. Jasper can give her props for that. They both leave the closet, a dark hand rises from the parents' room, which Ruby had used the slingshot to take it down.

Jasper: Nice Shot!

Ruby: Thank You. Follow Me!

Ruby leads the way out of the room as Jasper followed her into the living room. There, they saw Mr. Hopp looking all over for them once again.

Purposely, Jasper kicked one of Ruby's toy cars to make noise. This alerted Mr. Hopp who looks into their direction making another angry growling noise.

Jasper: Let's it take down, Ruby! Together!

Ruby: Right!

Combining the pellets, Jasper and Ruby begin to shoot at Mr. Hopp.

One.

Two.

Mr. Hopp, while limping, extends an arm as if trying to grab them. His mouth started oozing out some black substances.

But the sibling wouldn't allow that.

Jasper puts one pellet inside the gun's whole and like a bullet he shot straight at Mr. Hopp's abdomen.

Three.

Ruby followed suit by pulling the slingshot back and shot at Mr. Hopp's head.

Four.

Mr. Hopp was getting closer.

Jasper felt a surge of fear as he shoots again.

Five.

Ruby finishes the last attack and shots Mr. Hopp in the eye.

Six.

Mr. Hopp: ROOOOOOOOOOAR!!!!

After they fired three times each to equal six attacks, Mr. Hopp seemingly disintegrate into the floor. 

Jasper: Ha! And stay down you Demonic Freak!

Ruby: We did it!

Jasper: Yeah...Now let's get out of here and head on over to Mark's place for help!

Both of them leave the living room and ran for the door. Freedom from this nightmare was only about a stretch away.

Just as Jasper was about to grab the door handle, he and Ruby heard a familiar voice.

"Jasper! Ruby! Come and give your Nana a big kiss~!"

Ruby: Nana?!

Jasper: Ruby! No! It's a trap! Nana Esther is dead remember?!

Ruby:....

Seeing the sad yet stubborn look on Ruby's face. Whether it is a trap or not, she wanted to know herself. Noticing that Ruby wouldn't budge, Jasper sighs anxiously in defeat.

Jasper:....Let's go check together. One more time.

Ruby nodded as they leave the door and headed over to see their "Nana" at a distance away.

Ruby: Nana?!

"Esther": *Smiles* Jasper...Ruby...

Ruby: But...we thought you were dead...

Jasper: No...wait a minute, Ruby...

Jasper glared at "Esther" whose smile never wavered.

Jasper: Nana...

"Esther":...?

Jasper: Do you really take me for a fool? There's no way you're Nana Esther...NICE TRY MR. HOPP! TRICKS ARE FOR KIDS!!!

He shot a pellet at "Esther" whom was soon grabbed and pulled away by another monster version of Mr. Hopp.

Just as Jasper suspected, the Nana Esther they just seen was nothing more but an hallucination created by Mr. Hopp to lead the two siblings into a trap.

Mr. Hopp: PLAY WITH ME, JASPER! RUBY!

Jasper: RUN RUBY RUN!!!

Both Jasper and Ruby ran for the front door only to see it was no longer in it's spot. In it's place was a white brick wall of their house. Luckily, the front door was now a couple of distances away.

Shadowy claws had appeared all over the house as Jasper pulled his sister into his arms and begin to run for the door.

Mr. Hopp's long arm begin to follow them.

In order to ensure their escape, Ruby begins to shoot more pallets at the long shadowy arms blocking their way while Jasper jumped over the small ones.

They kept this up as Jasper finally made it for the door. Mr. Hopp's arm was about at least a few inches away from them.

Jasper quickly opened the door and pushes Ruby out before following suit closing the door on Mr. Hopp.

....

They made it out...

They escaped...for now...
