I took a deep breath before taking my luggage to the front desk. An older man was on his computer and looked towards me.

"Welcome to The Palmwoods. How can I help you?" He said in an annoyed tone.

"Hi I'm Melody Jackson. I was told to have room here?" I asked.

"Ah.." he said before mumbling something.

I checked his name tag to see Mr. Bitters.

There was commotion going outside and I took a peek. I saw all four boys. THE big time rush causing havoc. I chuckled.

"Excuse me one second." Mr Bitters says as he left.

I stood there chuckling a bit.

"Hey." A voice behind me spoke. I turned to see a girl around my age with brown hair.

"New girl, huh?"

"Mhm." I replied.

"I'm Camille. Figured I'd be your tour guide."

Mr. Bitters stomps his way back before signing me in.

"Have a palm woods day." He sarcastically says.

"Need any help?"

"Please." I admit as Camille chuckled.

Later...

After Camille helped me unpack, she had to go for auditions and I sat at the poolside and had my phone in my hands.

Ashlyn:
How's Hollywood so far?

Exciting! Wish you came though :(

Ashlyn... my close friend I known since middle school.

Ashlyn:
I'll probably get my big break eventually. :(

"Well hello there." A flirtatious voice spoke.

I looked up to see James standing there with a flirtatious look.

"Hi." I responded calmly.

"You must be new here. I'm James."

"Oh I know." I paused, "You're from big time rush."

"Ah I see. You're a fan of mine." He said before grabbing a seat next to me.

"What is a beautiful girl like you doing here all by herself?"

"I am a fan, yes. But not just you but all of the members." I said.

"If you had to pick: who's your favorite then?" He asked hoping I'd say him.

I really love all the boys and don't have a favorite.

Mr. Bitters comes by.

"Melody Jackson?" He said.

"Yes?" I politely spoke.

"I forgot to tell you this."

And he goes on with the rules and regulations.

"Oh and be careful of big time rush. They cause a lot of trouble." He warns with James in front of him.

"Oh trust me- we'll be on our best behavior." James reassured but I felt the doubt.

"Riiiiiight." Mr Bitters says with an eye roll.

"Stay away from the new girl." Mr Bitters threatened towards James before leaving.

I also left and went back to my room before calling Ashlyn.

"Hey, girl!" Ashlyn answered.

"Hey." I greet back.

"I was gonna text you but you called."

"Uh yeah you see... I ran into James."

"THE James Diamond?"

"That's the one."

"But what's wrong?"

I looked out the window to see him looking for me.

"You already know why I'm here. To focus on my first label. I don't want to add romance to the mix."

"Romance what do-"

Ashlyn gasped and screeched.

"James fell for you?"

"Immediately." I added.

Ashlyn continued to screech while I just relaxed on my couch and fell asleep.
