Third Person P.O.V.

Derek and Braeden didn't feel like going to a hospital for the birth of their child. They didn't want to put their baby in danger of any other supernaturals, so they decided to have the birth happen at the loft. Derek knew that Scott wouldn't be able to come over to help out, since he took had a family of his own.

Derek and Braeden had married privately, only with the pack as witnesses. They got married in the loft the afternoon she confessed she loved him and wanted to be something more than just dating. So, he married her right there. As stupid as it sounds, she didn't want their relationship to be public, since she was with somebody who came from a species that nearly killed her by slashing her throat.

Braeden screamed in pain as she gripped the bed, the contractions hitting her bad. Derek had a look of panic in his face as he looked at his wife. "I need you to relax. Oh, God." Derek said as he felt like he wanted to faint. "Derek! It hurts!" she yelled, tears streaming down her face. "Scott can't come here. I guess it's up to me now." he said.

"Probably not."

He turned and saw her. Her brown hair had gotten more longer and she had it curled, however she was drenched. It was storming outside after all. "Cora?" he asked. "How about you support her and I'll deliver the baby?" she asked as she walked over calmly. Derek moved and went to grab Braeden's hand. "Do you know what you're doing?" she asked, breathing through the pain. "I've been volunteering at a hospital in South America. I've dealt with this before." Cora replied.

She took off her jacket and got some doctor gloves on before rolling up the sleeves of her long-sleeve shirt. "Okay. It seems as if the baby's crowining. I'm going to need you to give a nice, big push. Are you ready?" the young Hale asked her sister-in-law. Braeden nodded her head as she braced herself. "Okay. One! Two! Three! Push!" Cora ordered.

Braeden screamed in agonizing pain as the thunder and lightning crashed outside. She squeezed Derek's hand tightly as she pushed with all her might. "Come on. You got this." he encouraged her. "Derek, it hurts." she sobbed. "I know. It's okay." he said as he kissed her forehead. "It's normal to feel the pain. You have to push or you'll lose the baby. So, come on. Push!" Cora urged.

Braeden screamed as she pushed. "Okay. I can see the head. I need you to give me one more push." Cora said. Derek used his abilities and began absorbing her pain. He groaned as his veins turned black and Braeden crushed his hand. She gave one, last scream until the pain subsided and a cry was heard in the room.

"Good job, Braeden. You two have a boy." Cora said as she got a blanket and wrapped the crying baby in it. She handed the baby to the new parents. "Thank you, Cora. I don't know what I would have done without you." Derek thanked his little sister. She smiled and nodded her head before she walked off, letting the three have quality time.

Derek and Braeden smiled as their baby calmed down. She caressed her son's forehead gently as she felt a mother instinct take over her. She didn't want anything to happen to him. She had carried this little bundle of joy for 9 months and she developed a strong bond with the child. Derek was extremely happy on the inside. His family was slowly growing again.

"What should we name him?" he asked his wife. "I was thinking Christian." she replied. "I like that name. What about a middle name?" he asked. "I don't know." she said as her son gripped her finger. "Eric." the former Alpha said. Braeden smiled and nodded. "Christian Eric Hale."

The baby's eyes opened and she gasped as she saw they were Derek's beautiful, vibrant green eyes. She soon saw them flash a beautiful golden color. "Another werewolf. The family's getting stronger." he said. The couple smiled as they shared a kiss and cradled their newborn son.
