Alyssa arrived in her Honors Algebra class. Her friends had already arrived. Sabrina and Cassandra were discussing stories and recent books they've read while Zoe, Juan, and Breana were laughing at an awkward joke Juan had made. When Alyssa entered Juan glared at her. It was the 15th of September and Alyssa's birthday was only three days away. When Alyssa sat down Sabrina looked at her and smiled softly.

"I have $26 for your birthday but I think I'll make you a story instead." she says.

"No...wait can you draw?"

Sabrina shook her head and Alyssa smiled a tad. "Alright. A story would be great. I want to die in the end thought."

At that Juan's eyes seemed to light up with malice. Zoe laughed a bit while Sabrina took note. Juan and Breana went back to talking about fractions. Sabrina figured out a title and quickly wrote it down before she forgot while Alyssa started on her warm-up.

"How do you want to die?" Sabrina asked.

"Murder." Alyssa answered a bit hyped.

Juan looked over at her and grinned. In that second he looked dangerous maybe even evil. Alyssa took note of it but didn't say anything since the bell rang and she had to walk home. Sabrina waited on a bench for her mom to pick her up. Everyone had left...or so she thought.
