"So, Edalyn, it looks like your apprentice has picked a fight with my strongest Pupil." Lilith said.

Lilith kneeled down and looked over Luz. That's when she saw it. A birthmark. A small gasp escaped Lilith's throat as she grabbed the human, looking closely at her neck.

"Hey!" Luz shouted in surprise while Eda looked weird out.

"Lily, what are you doing to my human?" She said as she pulled Luz away from Lilith.

"That mark. Human where did you get that mark?" Lilith ask, pointing towards Luz's neck.

"I-I-it's a birthmark. I've had it since I was born."

"Since you were born you say?" Lilith asked, standing on her feet.

"Y-Yeah, a lot of humans do. Some are more embarrassing than others." Luz said, moving a hand to cover the mark.

"I'll see you in the battlefield." Lilith said, walking away, "It couldn't be, could it? Could my daughter be alive?"

It couldn't have been possible, it had been years since she saw the women she loved.

"Miss Lilith?"

Lilith turned around.

"Hello Amity."

"I was wondering if you would help me practice before my duel."

With the possibility of her daughter being alive and being her opponent, Lilith wanted to say no but she was Amity's teacher. How could see tell her best student no?

"Of course, Amity." Lilith said with a nod.

'It's not real, it's just a coincidence.' Lilith thought to herself.

"I can't wait to crush that human." Amity said.

"And you will, Amity. You already have an advantage in knowledge and magic. I think the only way she could even stand a chance is if Edalyn have her a power glyph from the construction coven." Lilith said with a chuckle. "Now, let's talk about strategy."

When it was time for the battle, Lilith discreetly place a power glyph on the back of Amity's neck.

"Best of luck, Amity. Not that you will need it." Lilith said to her with a pat on the back.

'Knowing Edalyn, she has set up traps or other tricks on the field.' Lilith thought as the bell for the match screamed.

Lilith didn't focus much on the duel. She focused more on the human.

'She looks a lot like her, is it possible?'

Lilith thought back to her first love and made mental comparisons to her and to Luz.

'She does look like her just can't be. She disappeared years ago.' Lilith thought, 'Not to mention that she can't do magic. It... it just can't be.'
