Later, Lilith walked up to Belos.

"Father." She said, before sending a nod to the Golden Guard, "Hunter."

"Cousin Lilith." Hunter said with a nod back.

"Greetings, Lilith. Are you here to deliver the news of Luz's school exam?" Belos asked her.

"Yes, I am. Along with something else." Lilith said with a smile. "Lucenda passed with flying colors."

"Of course she did, she's just like her mothers." Belos said.

Lilith nodded with a smile before focusing on the other topic she wanted to discuss.

"You see, seeing as Luz will one day be the Emperor, and since she is behind others in terms of knowledge, I was wondering if-"

"She wants to take more than one Track, doesn't she?" Belos asked.

"...Yes, she does. With her high interest in learning everything magic related and her high magical output, I think studying more than one track at Hexside with her beneficial for her." Lilith said to her father.

"Lilith, you know the rules." Belos said.

"Yes, but she spent ten years in the Human Realm, she needs every opportunity she can get." Lilith said.

"I have to agree, uncle. If I was in a realm without magic, I'd want to make up for lost time too." Hunter said in agreement, even though he couldn't do magic himself.

He at least had the artificial staff that let him do artificial magic. Belos sat in silence. Lilith and Hunter looked at each other. They haven't seen Belos this quiet since Eda called by his full name. She was grounded for a full month. He really doesn't like being reminded that he's named after a former witch hunter.

"I suppose...we can do a trial run." He said before holding up his finger. "If her grades are good and she stays out of trouble, Lucenda can take more than one track for one year."

"Thank you, Father." Lilith said.

'YES! Lucenda will be so happy!' Lilith thought with glee.

"I'll speak to Principal Bump about it." Belos said.

"I wholeheartedly think he will agree." Lilith said as she nodded to her father and took her leave.

'Now that that's taken care of, I can go hang out with my daughter.'

Once she was out of the throne room, Lilith quickly used a teleportation spell get to her family so she can share the good news. They should be at the Ice Scream place by now. At the Ice Scream place, Luz was enjoying her treat. The flavors were unlike anything she had ever tasted before on Earth, and it was made all the sweeter now that she had friends and family to enjoy it with.

"Slow down, Luz." Camila said.

"She's right, Luz. Eat too fast, you'll get hiccups." Amity said to her.

"I'm back, my dears." Lilith said.

Luz, Camila, and the others saw Lilith enter the ice scream shop with a smile on her face. She had good news to give and a certain witch was eager to hear it.

"So, how did it go?" Camila asked as Lilith sat down next to her.

"It went quite well."

"How well exactly?" Camila asked.

Lilith smiled as she whispered into her wife's ear, making her look surprised as Lilith pulled away and nodded to her.

'Luz is going to explode with happiness.' Camila thought.

"So, Luz, why don't you and your friends walk a little, leave your mother and I to get... reacquainted."

Luz didn't know what she meant by that but she thought it would be a good chance to go see Eda and tell her the good news. It's been a while since she saw her first teacher/aunt, she could even introduce her friends to her.

"Okay, mama." Luz said as she got up with her ice scream cone in hand, "I'm going to go see Aunt Eda."

"Stay safe, and don't drink anything she offers." Lilith said.

"Gotcha!" Luz said as her friends went with her to the owl house.

When they arrived there, Luz decided to give them a brief rundown.

"Now, I know you guys have met Eda before, but I know you've never been to the Owl House, at least for very long." Luz said, "And, just word of advice, be careful around-"

"HELLO!"

The trio screamed.

"...Hooty."

"It's so good to see you again, Luz! It's been so long since you came to visit!" Hooty said as he wrapped around Luz in a hug. "Just because you're a princess, doesn't change that you're our buddy!"

"Hi, Hooty, is Eda home?" Luz asked.

"She's inside!"

Hooty opened the door and they went in, seeing Eda hang up a new recruitment poster, with her and Belos on it. She mostly just wanted to have a picture of her and her dad.

"Eda!" Luz shouted with a smile, gaining Eda's attention.

"Luz, about time you came back for a visit!" Eda said with a smile.

"I've been busy." Luz said.

"And you can't make time for your favorite Aunt?" Eda asked, with mock sadness, "I can't believe this."

Luz laughed and hugged Eda.

"It really is good to see you again, kid. I thought you'd forget old Eda." Eda said to Luz.

"Are you kidding? I could never forget you." Luz said as she pulled away and gestured to her friends. "You remember Gus, Willow, and Amity, right?"

"Yeah, I remember them." Eda said, "That green haired one nearly killed you."

Amity looked away in shame, regretting her past actions.

"Eda, it's not like that anymore. We're friends now." Luz said to her aunt.

"Whatever you say kid."

"Anyway, how have you been since I left?" Luz asked Eda.

"Well for one, King misses the heck out of you." Eda said to her.

"Awe." Luz said, "That's adorable."

"As for me, it's nice to be curse free but I'm still not fully for this coven stuff. Even if I'm working with dad." Eda said, gesturing to the new recruitment poster.

"You'll get used to it." Luz said, "Just think about how much you're getting paid."

"Don't remind me. I've already got SEVERAL upgrades in mind for my house." Eda said with a smile. "So, what's the news in Hexside? You pass?"

"With flying colors but I still hope I can study multiple tracks. I know I'm the princess and all but I want to study the tracks because of my potential, no my status." Luz said to Eda.

"My niece wants to study all tracks... I'm so proud." Eda said.

Eda sniffles a bit as she wiped some fake tears from her eyes, she could see herself in Luz so much right now. She wanted to do the same at her age.

"Oh, Aunt Eda." Luz said, hugging Eda.

"No "aunt". It makes me feel old." Eda said as she hugged Luz back. "So, you want to see King?"

"Yes!" Luz said with a smile, she missed the little demon.

Eda smiled.

"Of course you do."

Eda led them all to the kitchen where King was napping on the kitchen counter without a care in the world.

"King, you've got a guest." Eda said, waking him up.

"Weh?" He let out, blinking his eyes up before seeing a familiar face with three others. "LUZ!"

He jumped into Luz's arms. King hugged as tightly as he could while Luz let him do it, it didn't hurt but she missed him too.

"Looks like someone missed me."

"Of course I did!" King said to her.

"Well, I missed you too."

"So, how about I tell you what it's like to be the princess of the Isles?" Luz asked him.

"Yes, have you had anyone executed!?" King asked.

'That is his first thought?' Amity, Gus, and Willow thought in surprise.

"No, not yet, but I'll tell you about some other things that happened while I was gone." Luz said with a smile.

Eda smiled, it was getting boring without Luz. For the next few hours, Luz told Eda and King about everything that happened with the help of Gus, Willow, and Amity.

"Ah, creating chaos everywhere you go."

"I don't do it on purpose, Eda." Luz said to her.

"You don't have to, you're a natural chaos bringer like you dear auntie." Eda said, gesturing to herself.

Eda ruffled Luz's hair.

"Is that a bad thing or a good thing?" Willow asked Eda.

"Yes." Eda said to her.
