Dear Heartbreaker,

Do you know what I've always hated?

Tying my shoe laces.

I've always just been too lazy and never want to do it.

In the mornings on my way to school, I'd literally just slip my shoes on without retying them, so they were always loose when I got to school.

Most days I'd ask one of my friends to tie my shoes and yes, they did always complain...

But they tied them for me anyways cause they loved me.

Then we became best friends.

One day while we waited in line to go into class, I asked one of my other friends to tie my shoe.

You were standing right next to me also and before she could even reply, you got down on one knee and motioned for me to give you my foot.

You didn't even say anything, but I put my shoe on your knee anyway and you tied my laces.

I couldn't stop smiling.

After that, it became like a routine.

Whenever I'd ask someone to tie my shoes, you would.

And every time, it made me like you a little bit more because...

It's the little things that are the key to my heart.
