Radhika, a happy married woman respects and loves everyone. Her husband, Sooraj loved and supported her a lot, allowed her to complete her studies after marriage, even allowed she can do job after completing her studies.

But it's said na that it just takes a moment to change someone's life totally. Same way Radhi's whole life changed just in a day. Her life whole life turned upside down. All her happiness got snatched.

It was Radhi's final exam. Sooraj was leaving for office.

Sooraj: All the best. I know you will make it. Don't be nervous. Ok? Love you

He kissed her forhead and she smiled. He left. After an hour, she was picking her necessities fir exam. She was about to leave when her phone rang. She checked the collar id- Sooraj. She thought it must be for wishing her luck. She smiled to herself thanking God for her fate. She picked up the call.

Radhi: Hello

Phone felt down from her hand and she felt on floor against the door. Her sister-in-law, Nikita saw her and came running towards her.

Niki: Bhabhi bhabhi kya hua? Aap theek ho na?

Ridhi: Nikita Sooraj ka accident ho gia. Bohot critical condition hai

She said in cracky voice.

Niki: Bhabhi aap chinta matt kro. Bhayia ko kuch ni hoga

Niki call her mom dad.

Sooraj's dad: SD
Sooraj's mom: SM

They all went to hospital. Operation was going on. After sometime dr came out.

SM: Mera beta theek hai na?

Dr.: We tried our best but I am sorry but we couldn't save him

Everyone broke down except Radhi. She was sitting expressionless. She was quite for whole day. No tears. No words. It was like she was alive from outside but nit from inside.

SM went to her room and threw a white sari in front of her and asked her to remove all jewelry and make up. She quitely did as instructed. After the rituals, relatives left.

SD, SM, Nikki and Radhi were sitting in hall.

SD: Now we don't have anyone to earn

SM: Kyo nhi hai ji. Radhika hai na. From today you will work as maid at people's home

Radhi: Par maaji meri padai

SM: Konsi padai? Bass bohot padai ho gyi. Tum ab kaam krogi. Hme ghar khrche aur Nikita ki padai dono ke lie paise chahie

Radhi: Maaji please padai poori kar lena dene dijie. Mein kaam bhi kar loongi

SM: Maine keh dia so keh dia. Tu aaj se sirf kaam kregi. Baat khatam

SM got up and was going in her room. Radhi sat on ground holding her feet.

SM: Please mujhe meri studies complete kr lene dijie

SM pulled her hair. She winced in pain.

SM: Ek baar mein tujhe samaj ni aata kya? Mujhse zubaan ldaegi tu hnn mujhse

SM slapped her tightly.

SM: Meri baat kaan kholke sunle. Maine bol dia nhi padai krni, koi naukri ni krni matlab bol dia

SM left to her room. SD and Niki also left leaving Radhi crying sitting on floor and cursing her fate.

Radhi found a work in 3-4 homes as a maid. She worked there and earned money. At night, she used to study in her room secretly.

Every month, she used to get money and give to SD and SM. They used to spend whole money on themselves or their daughter. They never gave even a ruppee to Radhi. She accepted her fate and kept working hard.

In daytime, she used to work in other's home and her owm home. At night she used to study. But maybe, God even didn't accept that.

One night, SM woke up to drink water. She found jug in her room empty. She got up and went to the kitchen. She drank water and while coming back, she saw lights of Radhi's room on. She got suspicious.

She knocked the door. Radhi got scared and hid her books under blanket and opened the door.

Radhi: Maaji aap iss waqat yaha? Kuch kaam tha

SM: Tum itni raat ko kyo jaag rhi ho?

Radhi: Wooo

Sweat formed on her forhead. SM's doubted her more. She pushed her aside and went inside. She opened her cupboard and threw all things on ground. Radhi was trying to stop her.

Radhi: Maaji aapko chahie kuch? Mujhe btaie mein deti hu. Bataie to

SM raised her hand.

SM: (coldly) Bass chup. Ek shabad aur muhh se nikla na ek jhappad maaroongi

Radhi got quite. SM made a mess of her whole room. She was about to move out. Radhi sighed in relief. But SM again came back and picked up her blanket. She saw books kept there. She looked at Radhi furiously. She took her books and walked towards the door.

Radhi: Maaji sunie. Maaji baat to sun lijie ek baar

Radhi followed SM.

Radhi: Maaji maaji sunie to

SM stopped and slapped her tightly. Radhi kept a hand on his cheeks. She was looking down while tears rolled down her cheeks.

SM: Mana kia tha na tujhe. Nhi padna hai to kyu? Tu aise ni manegi

SM dragged her from her hair and she felt on ground and she dragged her like that. SD and Niki came out.

SD: Kya hua?

SM: Ye dekho (showing him books)

Radhi was crying continously but no one paid attention to her. They dragged her to backyard. Listening to screams, neighbors also came.

SM: Sharam hi nhi hai ek baar mana kia par nhi

She burnt fire and through her books in it.

Random neighbour: Theek hi to hai vidva hai. Isko padne ki izzazat kaise dede

Tears rolled down Radhi's eyes. She looked at her books, her dreams, everything burning in front of her. Nothing came out of her mouth. Just in few months, her whole life changed. After her husbands death, everyone forgot SHE IS ALSO A FREAKING HUMAN BEING!!!!!
