Due to his species' nature in his past live, the (former) dragon Lucius treats his crush - Kaise like a dragon guarding its most valued treasure. 

They live in the same room, share the same bed, spend all day/night together. Yet, Lucius always feels that his treasure wants to leave him. 

Lucius looks for advice from the books in the school library and he makes a stunning discovery: marriage. 

"A married couple is bound for eternity." 

But the bigger problem emerges, the strongest form of a marriage is based on 'love'.

Will Lucius, a dragon who doesn't understand 'love', be able to make someone as dense as Kaise fall in love with him? Or will he resort to the way of the dragon, to kidnap and hide its treasure forever?

Kaise is the only son of a poor family. His mother passed away after giving birth to him. His father is an alcoholic and gambler. 

Kaise has a difficult childhood. Since he was 5, he's had to work to feed himself. 

During the great war, his village was attacked and Kaise was saved by a knight. Since then, he's always wanted to be one.

Kaise's talents awakened when he was 12. A local priest saw his potential and encouraged him to enroll in the Infinity Academy - the most prestigious school for the gifted.  

During the entrance exam, Kaise was secretly sold to Lucius by his father. Kaise, upon finding out the truth, confronted his father and begged him to return money to Lucius to undo the contract.  Kaise's father straight up disowned him.

Lucius dragged his depressed treasure (Kaise) back to the hotel. He then explained the price of breaking the contract, which is Kaise's father's life. 

Kaise reluctantly accepted his fate.

Thus, the life of a dragon incarnate and his beloved treasure began.

Kaise: Get on my back. I'll carry you.

Kaise: *eats the unidentified black thing anyway*

Lucius: Kaise! Spit it out! Now!

Kaise: *I refuse*
