It was the year 27 Bc. And a particular story of two begins in Rome, the greatest Empire, where countless stories and legends were born.

Footsteps echoed on the pavement. A little kid ran through the halls looking excited. "Mom!" he shouted. "I managed to answer all the questions in school today," he said, bouncing up and down. The woman bent down and hugged him. "Good job Rian!" The boy paused and clenched his fists. Not again. "Why do people keep mistaking me for Him?!" he wondered. The mother's eyes widened as she realized. "Oh my, I'm so sorry Liden '' the mother frantically whispered. Liden pushed her away violently and ran away with tears streaming down on his face. His mother's desperate voice echoed far behind him, begging for him to come back.

Liden burst through his room and fell on his bed silently. This was not the first time someone mistaken him for his brother. But of all people, isn't the mother supposed to tell them apart? Just last week at the convivium people's whispers reached his ears. The whispers were nothing new. Everyone was praising Rian. Rian always got good grades, he was much more handsome and healthy looking and sophisticated as well. However Liden always felt like an outcast as he was overshadowed by his brother. Out of the two, Liden was the bastard child of a fling between the emperor and a maid, however he came out looking quite similar to his older brother, except for a few differences. He tried his best to be just as good, but never succeeded. Liden was left feeling infuriated all the time.

Years passed and nothing but their ages and physique changed. The Empress died and so did the Emperor. The two brothers had completely grown apart, to the point they were strangers. Rian ascended the throne and proceeded to rule Rome.
