Your P.O.V

"Claude?" You woke up and found yourself in his arms.

"Yes, my love?" He asked. "Nothing. I was just checking if you were awake. I'm sorry if I woke you up." You replied. "It's all right. How are you feeling?" He said. "I'm fine. Why do you ask?" You questioned. He paused.

"I... don't know. I suppose I was just worried that you would leave me for someone else, and the thought scared me. I- I really love you,
Y/N, and I don't want to lose you." He confessed, obviously embarrassed.

You smiled, touched by his words. "I love you, too, Claude. I would never leave you. Don't worry about it" You assured him. "Thank you, love." He said, kissing your nose. You kissed him back, on his cheek.

"I don't know about you, but I'm going back to sleep. Good night." You said. "I don't plan to leave, if that's what you're hinting at." He teased. "Then don't." You replied sleepily. You cuddled into him and soon fell asleep.

MY CHAPTERS ARE ALWAYS SHORT, AND FOR SOME REASON THE READER KEEPS FALLING ASLEEP AT THE END! Like ???? WTH am I doing with my life? But hey, I published 2 chapters in 1 day... at least I managed to do that much. :/
