Chapter 13-  I Heard Every Word

The driver drops us off at Justin's parents' house.

"It's good to be back", Justin says.

"Yeah" I reply as we open the door.

"Welcome home!" Everyone shout.

I smile to see all my friends here, standing in the large living room.

"h\How's your honeymoon, did you do it every night?" Jordan asks and Jessica smacks him behind his hand.

Justin chuckles and did their guy hug with all of them, while I hug Arlene and Gabriella.

"you're getting bigger", I say to Gabriella.

"Yep and I think it's a girl", she replies and rubs her stomach.

"No, it's a boy", Luke says.

"They been arguing about this for the past few days", Jacob sighs and rolls his eyes.

I see Gregory sitting on the couch,

"Hi Greg", I say and he stands up and hugs me.

"I miss you, Anne, don't ever leave me again like that", he says dramatically and I laugh.

Someone clears their throat and I turn around. It is a lady about our age with blonde hair and green eyes.

"Anne, this is Quinn my girlfriend, Quinn my best friend Anne", Greg introduces us to each other.

"So this is the famous Anne, Gregory been talking about all the time", she says, watching me up and down.

I glare at her, "yes and you better treat Greg good or else", I say and walk off.

"I don't like her, she's been acting like Stephanie", Arlene whispers to me.

"Tell me about it", I reply and roll my eyes.

"Hi starlight", dad says behind me.

"Dad!" I  exclaim and hug him, he chuckles, "nice to see you too."

"Welcome back Mr. and Mrs. James, how was your honeymoon?"  Jessica asks.

"Great, I even learn to surf", Justin boasts.

"Yeah after falling off the board more than twenty times", I add and everyone laughs.

"Did you take out any pictures of it?" Jordan asks me, while he places his hand around my neck.

"Of course", I say and got my iPod from my bag.

I log into it and show Jordan the pictures, he chuckles and shows it to the rest of the guys.

Justin shake his head and wrap his arms around my waist,

"Ready to go home?" He whispers in my ear.

"But we just got here", I say.

"And you need your beauty sleep for that meeting in the morning", he replies.

"We'll leave in thirty minutes", I say.

"Good", he says and kisses my forehead.

"Let's go get a drink, guys", Jacob says and all the guys went to the kitchen.

I sit down on the couch with Gabriella and Arlene, while Quinn sits down in another and text on her phone, grinning.

Why do I have a feeling, she's cheating on Gregory?

"So how long are you and Greg dating?" Arlene asks her.

She looks up from her phone, "two weeks", she replies and looks back down, then laughs.

Gabriella, Arlene and I watch each other and raise an eyebrow, all of us are thinking the same thing.

"Who are you texting?" Arlene asks.

'"Just an old friend, Blake", she says and smirks.

Wait, Blake? As in Brandon's high school best friend?

"Does Blake have a friend name Brandon from high school?" I question.

"Yes and he's quite handsome", she says with the smile.

"How long are you and Blake together?" Arlene questions, catching her off guard.

"Six months", she says proudly and gasps.

"I knew you were cheating on Gregory", I say.

"so? He's so blind by love, he doesn't even know it", she smirks.

The girls and I remain quiet as we see Greg standing behind Quinn like if he wants to murder her.

She looks at us and we all smile at her, then she turns around and gasps.

"I heard every word", he says angrily and walks out of the living room.

"baby wait", she says, running behind him.

"knew something was off about her", Gabriella mutters.

"Where's Greg going?" Ian asks us.

"Let's just say let him handle his situation", I answer as Ian's hand each of us a beer.

Gregory POV

I storm out the house and slam the door behind me.

"Baby", Quinn calls behind me.

"What?!" I snap and turn around.

"I am sorry, Blake and I are only f*ck buddies that's it, I am in love with you", she says.

"Bullsh*t!" I shouted.

"I am telling the truth", she says pleading.

"Get out of my sight slut and don't ever contact me again", I growl.

"You'll come back to me", she says and walks away.

"In your dreams hoe", I say and walk back inside.

"Hi, you're okay?" Anne asks me and I watch her and shake my head.

She embraces me, "let it all out" and I cry on her shoulder.

I could kiss her right now, but she is married, I should of date her during senior year of high school after she broke up with Brandon, then she wouldn't have been with Justin.

"I am here if you need me", she whispers.

"same here", I reply.

Justin POV

I watch Anne comfort Greg and I got to say it's not a nice sight. Your wife hugging your friend after he dumps his slutty girlfriend and no one is asking questions, not awkward at all.

"Hi man, want to play pool?" Austin asks me.

"Yeah", I sigh and watch Anne once more as she let go of Greg, then to the basement.

"What's going on with Greg and Anne?" Kyle asks.

Everyone shrugs and look at me,

"What?"

"Aren't you worry?", Ian ask.

"No, I trust Anne and Greg know, I am her husband", I reply and play pool.

"But you got to admit Quinn is hot", Jordan says.

"All the girls Jordan says are hot, always turn out to be taken or a slut", Jacob jokes and we all nod in agreement.

"It's not my fault I am gifted with eyes that spot slut from a mile away", Jordan says.

"hi guys", Greg says by the door entrance.

"Finally you had the guts to dump that chick, I could have told you she was cheating on you the first time I met her", Ian said to his buddy.

"But you had to find out on your own, how would you learn if I did all the work?" He adds.

"I need a few beers to clear my head", he says and went back upstairs.

"Poor guy, that's his second girlfriend he dumps because she cheated on him", Austin sighs.

"And after the third, he'll turn into a player like me and I'll have a buddy to train", Jordan says proudly.

"Hope his boy child, don't have a bad influence on my kids", Jacobs whispers to me and I snicker.

"I heard that", Jordan growls at his twin.

"What a lovely observation of the obvious", Jacob says sarcastically and Jordan rolls his eyes.

I shake my head at my two buddies, I wouldn't trade them for the world.
