I woke up feeling blank like the emotions have just been sucked out of me.

I trudged out of bed and got changed.

I got changed.

I brushed my hair and teeth.

Everything felt automatic, like I had no control, just like before.

I don't know why but I exited my room and started walking aimlessly.

Down the stairs. Out the building.
Across campus. Out the campus.

I didn't know where I was but my surroundings were familiar. Time seemed to stop.

The only sound I could hear was the clacking of my shoes against the concrete.

One step, two step and repeat.

I don't try to fight this anymore, I learnt to just let it be.

One step, two step and repeat.

My body tingled and I saw flashing lights in the corners of my eyes.

One step, two steps repeat.

There was a sound in the background like a beeping.

One step, two steps repeat.

It was a car, it's nearly reached me yet I can't move.

Five, four, three, two, on-

I gasped as I fell to the ground finally regaining my senses.

I'd regained my senses yet I didn't feel pain.

I looked around to see I was on the floor but not of the road but the side walk.

People were gaping asking but if I was alright I just simply nodded.

Someone's arms were around me but as quick as they were around me they were gone.

I saw the figure running off down the street and as they rounded the corner all I spotted was a couple locks of a bright colour which I couldn't make out.

I noticed lots of people were staring at me and I looked down ashamed and quickly ran off to the mall.

After my little moment, well big I could of died, I headed to the mall which was near and I decided to start buying presents. I got Erza's first as I saw deal at a cafe where you can get 5 pieces of strawberry cake a week free with the pass. It was slightly pricy but she went out of her way last year.

Even though we're not super close, at lest used to not be, we always had a tradition where 3 days after Christmas we would meet in our dorm and exchange presents. Last year she got me a interview with my favourite author. It was the best experience.

After a while of shopping I grew hungry so I went to a cafe and ordered food. I was just sitting then finally realisation hit me. I could of died.

I was so close to being ran over just because I couldn't control myself.

At that moment I broke down, my fathers right I can't look after myself.

I sat there awhile longer, luckily I was in a secluded corner.

The bell rang signalling someone was here and the next thing I know is I felt small warm arms wrapped around me.

I looked up to see levy hugging me.

I looked at her and she gave me a reassuring smile.

"I was in the shop by the road, it's okay you're okay." She spoke softly.

This isn't the first time this has happened and it isn't the first time levy helped with the aftermath.

I smiled at her before letting the tears roll down as I clutched her arms. I don't know how long we were there but she stayed by my side the whole time.
