Valt's P.O.V.
The glow in front of me brightened, and it materialised into the sleek shape of Shu. He looked at me, smiling sadly. "I'm sorry I had to leave," he whispered.
I didn't notice tears were running down my face until I tasted the salty liquid on my lips. "Shu, I miss you so much!" I sobbed.
"I'm always here. I will protect you from anything. Because..." Shu blushed, "I love you."
I blushed too. This is what I have been dreaming about for the last few days. What these feelings were. "I-I love you too," I said.
Suddenly, Shu began to fade. "I have to go, Valt, but I will always be right here."
"No! Shu! Don't leave me!" I cried and tried to struggle free of the rope that was trying me to the bed.
"I love you..." Shu whispered, and then he was gone.
Anguish hit me like a ton of bricks. I cried out with grief. "Shu!"
Suddenly the door of the room was swung open and in walked my friends from the beyclub. "Valt! You're here!" Rantaro ran over to me.
"What has that cat done to you?!" Wakiya exclaimed.
"How did you know where I was?" I asked between sobs.
"We followed Ella here," Daigo replied.
"Where is Ella?"
"She went to another room," Rantaro said. "Now we've got to get you out of here!"
He pulled a knife out of his pocket and began swiping it through the thick layers of rope.
"We um... heard about Shu," he said quietly.
Grief struck me again, but I held in the tears this time.
"Ella's a monster," Daigo added. "Killing someone all because she wants you."
"What are we going to do about her?" I asked.
Daigo shrugged. "I guess we'll have to fight her."
"But she's a cat demon! And we're just humans!"
"Yeah, well, we'll still be able to find some way around that," Wakiya replied, folding his arms.
I thought about this. And what Shu had said. I am always here. I will protect you from anything.
I didn't know whether to tell the beyclub about seeing the ghost of Shu. They probably wouldn't believe me anyway. So I decided to keep it to myself.
Just then Rantaro finished cutting the rope, and I could wriggle free. I jumped up and ran to the door. Peeping out, I saw that there was a room across from this room, and I could see the back of Ella.
"There she is," I whispered.

Welp I hope you like this chapter!!! I'll try and update this a lot from now on, because I want to finish it as soon as possible, because I have a secret project I want to get to!!
